Kim Kardashian Thanked Kanye West For Introducing Her To Fashion While Accepting Her People’s Choice Award

December 8, 2021 / Posted by:

Last night Kim Kardashian “won” the Fashion Icon of 2021 “award” at the People’s Choice Awards. She wore a black bodysuit from Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection and those sunglasses you get after laser eye surgery. The future is now! In her speech Kim thanked her probably-soon-to-be-ex-husband Kanye West for introducing her to the fashion world, and the audience cheered and applauded. Because it’s the audience at the PCAs. And they’re stupids. Continue reading

Open Post: Hosted By Arby’s New Swimwear Line

August 10, 2021 / Posted by:

When I say, “Beefy Aloha Swimsuit,” what do you picture? Your mind may have gone somewhere dirty, but me? I’m thinking Arby’s! Specifically the fast-food chain’s new “Summer Swag” clothing and swimwear collection. The “Beefy Aloha” items (yep, that’s the actual name Arby’s executives approved) features the restaurant’s Beef n’ Cheddar sandwich against a tropical Hawaiian backdrop. Arby’s top designers have plastered this extremely original pattern on bathing suits, flip flops, shirts, and a bucket hat. There’s also their “Body by Bacon” towel and swim trunks, a tank top that reads “Sun’s Out Buns Out,” and wraparound-style Arby’s Party Shades. Sorry, vegetarians! It’s officially Hot Carnivore Summer! Continue reading

Open Post: Hosted By Carrie Bradshaw Wearing Forever 21

July 30, 2021 / Posted by:

In case ya haven’t heard, they’re filming the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That, all over NYC this summer. This means people get a sneak peek of Carrie Bradshaw & Co’s fancy fashions via paparazzi pics. There’s even an Instagram account, @justlikethatcloset, which documents the make and model of every single outfit. The latest photos show Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a flowy maxi dress over a blue collared shirt (“Unnecessary Layering” is Carrie’s middle name) as she goes to meet Mr. Big’s ex Natasha (Bridget Moynahan) for lunch. And the Internet is AGHAST because the dress has been identified as… gulp… Forever 21?!  Continue reading

The “House Of Gucci” Character Posters Are Here

July 29, 2021 / Posted by:

In honor of the House of Gucci trailer dropping tonight, MGM released a bunch of molto elegante e drammatico character posters featuring the film’s leads. We’ve already seen some on-set pap shots and star Lady Gaga tweeted a pic of her and Adam Driver in full rich-Italian-nineties-chalet mode, but this is our first official look at the entire Gucci famiglia. It includes an unrecognizable Jared Leto in fat/bald Bobby Cannavale drag. At that point, why even spend the cash hiring Jared Leto? For all we know they could be Trojan Horse-casting Kevin Spacey under all those prosthetics! Continue reading

And Now For The Fashions Of The iHeartRadio Music Awards (Yes, That Happened Last Night)

May 28, 2021 / Posted by:

The iHeartRadio Music Awards is something that happened last night, and that was probably exciting for the three people who knew it was on and watched. It was probably also exciting for the celebrities who showed up because it gave them a chance to strip out of their pajamas and sweats and slather themselves in fashion foolery, including the above look from Bruno Mars which looks like a still from a movie called Puerto Rican Casanova Swingers Club.

The 2021 Oscars Red Carpet > Brad Pitt’s Ponytail < Literally Anything Else

April 26, 2021 / Posted by:

If last night’s Oscars ceremony can be summed up in a single image, it’s that of Brad Pitt’s struggle ponytail:

It was confusing, unnecessary, washed out, and honestly, kind of rude. Just like the show, it ended abruptly yet was also way too long. Give us Legends of the Fall locks undulating like a field of wheat in a summer breeze Brad, or give us nothing and keep it moving. Trust me, nobody wants a pinky finger’s worth of hay held together with the twist tie from a bag of Ezekiel bread. Thankfully Brad’s angry inch was outshone by the red carpet which was one of the only saving graces about this year’s ill-conceived mid-pandemic Oscars ceremony.
