Michael K founded Dlisted (back when it was called The D-List) on January 23, 2005 out of a mixture of sheer boredom and a will to drag his friends and family members. But when he realized that people were actually reading it, he shifted Dlisted’s focus to be about celebrities and pop culture. Since then, Dlisted has been mentioned by the likes of Details Magazine, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, Entertainment Weekly, Paper Magazine, InTouch Weekly, and Illiterate Trash Weekly (which is not a real publication, but if it was, Dlisted would definitely be featured there regularly). It has also been on Broad City, Difficult People, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Graves, and The Bling Ring. And Dlisted is an AWARD-WINNING BLOG (thankyouverymuch) since it won a NewNowNext Award in 2008 and a Bloggie in 2009. When he’s not writing for this blog and working on his unauthorized Phoebe Price biography, he hosts Dlisted: The Podcast with Allison.

Allison has been writing for Dlisted since 2013, when she discovered she was hired as an intern while shopping for chocolate-covered potato chips at Target. Before that, she used to do nails and write various things here and there on the internet. She currently writes for Dlisted and co-hosts Dlisted: The Podcast with Michael K, where she claims to be part-European and says “like” a lot (she’s working on it). She is a Canadian person who currently lives in Toronto and has a mild obsession with fast food, dogs that wear nail polish, Weird Al Yankovic, and HD celebrity close-up photography.

Mieka lives in her hometown of Berkeley, CA, and spends her free time imagining what an average day for Cher looks like. Does anybody here know Cher? PM me if you do. When not covering news about butts and poop for Dlisted, she also writes for Pajiba and co-hosts a podcast called Celebrity Booze Cruise, which admittedly, is not for everyone.

Ben is the 24-hour party in an 8-hour capsule. He has enjoyed success as a writer, actor, award-winning lush, and all-around cool brotha. He counts writing for Dlisted as one of his favorite things aside from traveling, booze, and men (and not particularly in that order). Originally from Philly, Ben will be relocating to Atlanta in hopes of meeting all the celebrities he talks trash about and charming them into buying him drinks every night. Or paying off his student loans. Whichever is cheaper.

Adam lives in Toronto. He writes plays, reads books, and drinks wines––in that order. When not trashing celebrities, he spends his time putting together his first collection of short stories that he’ll never see published. Not because they aren’t good stories, but because he’s got crippling anxiety and is also extremely lazy. Adam also probably murdered his husband and fed him to tigers.
