Back in November 2020, Erika Jayne/Erika Girardi’s trophy-wife wings were clipped when news broke out that her octogenarian lawyer-turned-criminal husband Tom Girardi was exposed for embezzling tens of millions of dollars from his clients and filed for divorce in November 2020 under the proclamation that she had no clue. So while you’d think 51-year-old Erika would be amped to spend her newly single era shaking beds with guys who don’t have liver spots on their dicks, she was recently seen in Las Vegas with 72-year-old “recently arrested lawyer,” Jim Wilkes.
Gap Sues Kanye West For $2 Million Over Breach Of Contract
Gap is coming for whatever money’s left in Kanye West’s dramatically slimed down wallet after losing $1.5 billion when Adidas terminated their partnership. No, they’re not suing him for making them sell their failed Yeezy x Gap collab out of trash bags. Gap’s taking legal action after they got sued by Art City Center, whose building was leased out to Gap during their partnership with Kanye and was apparently left damaged after he made alterations to the building without Gap’s approval. So basically, Gap wants to pass over the bill to Kanye.
A Jury Has Ruled That Ed Sheeran Didn’t Copy Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On”
Five years ago, zzzzzs-inducing ginger crooner Ed Sheeran was hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit for allegedly snatching pieces of Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On for his 2014 song Thinking Out Loud. The lawsuit was filed by the estate of Ed Townsend, who co-wrote 1973’s Let’s Get It On with Marvin Gaye. Ed Townsend’s heirs accused Ed Sheeran of stealing a “syncopated chord pattern” from Marvin’s classic wet hump anthem. Over the past two weeks, a federal jury in Manhattan heard the case, and after deliberating for three hours, they reached a verdict today. That chorus of “NOoooooOOOOs” you hear is from Ed’s fellow pop stars who have been praying for his downfall. Because Ed came out of this trial victorious.

The smugness and hilarity of Gwyneth Paltrow and Terry Sanderson’s 8-day ski accident trial held us in a tight grip a few months ago and ended when the jury sided with Gwyneth and found Terry Sanderson at fault for the crash that caused her to miss “half a day of skiing,” and left him alleged health issues. This meant he’d be on the hook to pay Goopy her sanctimonious statement damages of $1, along with her legal fees. And just when we thought that was all over and a new sham of a case came along to captivate us (Jury Duty, of course), Goop and Terry are back in the news since their lawyers met and eventually agreed to drop the part about him paying her lawyers.
Alec Baldwin Wants A Lawsuit Halyna Hutchins’ Parents And Sister Filed Against Him For Her Death On The “Rust” Set To Be Thrown Out
Though Alec Baldwin’s pull-out game on the Baldwinito homefront is weaker than his wife Hilaria Baldwin’s fake Spanish accent, when it comes to all of the litigation tossed his way after the accidental shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust, he’s been attempting to withdraw himself from accountability left and right. As we know, Alec claims he never pulled the trigger, believes he should’ve been exonerated, shouldn’t be held financially responsible, and was successful in having a gun enhancement charge against him dropped before pleading “not guilty” to manslaughter. Now, he is asking for a civil suit that Halyna’s parents and sister filed to be tossed out; because he alleges they weren’t close with her and don’t meet the requirements of their filing; plus, he already settled with her husband.
William H. Macy Has Been Sued For $600,000 For Allegedly Cutting Down His Neighbor’s Trees
A few years ago, if you’d asked me which Hollywood star would be the least likely to get embroiled in legal drama, I’d probably say William H. Macy. But guess what? Past me would’ve been wrong. In 2019, William’s wife, Felicity Huffman, spent 11 days in the clink for being involved with the college admissions scandal — and he was totally in on the scam, too. Now, Page Six reports that the 73-year-old actor is being sued for $600,000 for “knowingly and intentionally” cutting down his next-door neighbor’s trees. Sigh. All of WHM’s scandals are so… WASPy.
