Hilaria Baldwin Can’t Promise To Stop Having Babies Unless Alec Baldwin Gets Snipped

With Nick Cannon safely in the hospital for the moment and Elon Musk otherwise occupied with preserving freedom of speech for all whitemankind, the erratic market for looming babies’ futures is at an all-time low. Or it was until Baldwin Babies Inc. CEO Hilaria Baldwin appeared on Extra to announce their 4th quarter projections, hinting at the possibility of one or more looming baby offerings in the new year. As we know, Baldwin Babies Inc. has been under SIEGE this year after CIO (Chief Insemination Officer) Alec Baldwin was involved in the accidental shooting death of cinematographer Halnya Hutchins while moonlighting as a producer/actor on the film Rust. CEO Hilaria noted in her announcement that while the BBI is “not ok,” and “can’t be ok” following the tragedy, Alec has yet to “do his part,” (*SNIP SNIP* see above) to thwart BBI’s prospects for a bountiful 2023.

Never one to dwell on the negative, Hilaria kept her comments about Halnya’s death brief before moving on to more pressing corporate matters, deploying a prop baby to emphasize the organization’s commitment to perpetual infancy. As previously reported, Alec and Halnya’s husband, Matthew Hutchins, settled their dispute out of court for an undisclosed sum, with Matthew walking away with an executive producer credit on Rust, which will go back into production next month. Page Six reports:

Hilaria Baldwin and husband Alec Baldwin are still struggling after the fatal shooting on the set of “Rust” in October 2021.

“We’re not OK. We can’t be OK. No one’s OK,” Hilaria, 38, said in an upcoming interview with Extra while holding back tears. “It was and is a tragedy that nobody could ever have imagined.”

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed on set when a prop gun containing live bullets went off and struck her in the chest before striking director Joel Souza in the clavicle.

The Baldwins, who recently welcomed their seventh child, have been open about their family’s “challenging year” ever since the shooting.

To her credit, Hilaria may finally be acting on advice of counsel by not blaming Halyna directly for BBI’s erratic rollout of Babies #6 & #7. And as long as there’s still a chance that Alec could be held criminally liable for Hayna’s death, which there is, Hilaria’s wise to keep the market guessing until such time as BBI’s CIO has been either charged or acquitted of any wrongdoing. Either outcome, plus the outcome of Alec’s own negligence lawsuit against Rust armorer Hanna Reed Gutierrez et al, will undoubtedly impact BBI’s cash flow moving forward. Here’s what Hilaria had to say about what the future may hold for BBI’s longevity as an ¡Hola! 500 company. People reports:

Hilaria Baldwin doesn’t know what the future holds for her family.

In a preview of Extra‘s interview with Hilaria and her 10-week-old daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena, airing Monday, the mom of seven opened up about whether she could see her family with husband Alec Baldwin growing again in the future.

“I would say that we’re done, but I said we were done with six,” she said with a laugh. “And yeah, I would say hopefully we’re done.”

Gesturing her hand as a snipping scissor, she added, “But Alec still has to go and do his part. So if he does not do his part, sometimes things can happen.”

I must say, as a casual investor in BBI (not in cash but in time and brain space), I’m a bit concerned about BBI’s management structure. As CEO and *IIC (incubator in chief), you’d think Hilaria would have some say in the matter, but I guess it’s possible she’s just the figurehead, and Alec is actually the one who pulls the strings, if not the trigger. In addition to Hilaria’s appearance on Extra, Alec and Hilaria were able to muster up some semblance of “OK,” if only for an evening, to hit the red carpet for the American Museum of Natural History’s Annual Gala in New York City on Thursday.

“I have two babysitters at home!” Hilaria told PEOPLE about the couple’s extensive preparations to escape their children for the evening, while adding that they still have lots of festive family events planned in New York City, too.

Here’s Alec and Hilaria looking as OK as two busy executives with a looming baby empire to run can look on a school night.

Look, I said “OK,” not great. They are doing their best! But I do worry about the future of this company. As the titular Boss Baby of film, what happens to Alec and Hilaria if The Boss Baby 3 comes out via *surrogate, i.e. on Netflix, instead of getting a theatrical release and there is no red carpet event to attend? Do they just close up shop for good, or do they suck it up, dig deep and accept a bailout from Big Baby, compromising the integrity of what was once just a humble mom-and-pop shop. Only time will tell. Here’s Hilaria’s extremely Extra message to investors.
