Kanye West Has Been Dropped By Adidas, Loses Billionaire Status

As the decline of Kanye West‘s sanity and career becomes the new Titanic, he doesn’t seem to care about the severity of his actions. His constant trolling of the Black experience is reason enough to not just cancel him, but to pull the plug on his entire network (though Miranda Priestly believes otherwise). And speaking of networks, everything he has been working towards is crumbling before his wide, crazy eyes in real-time. Now he can add several more castaways from his sinking ship after his new lawyer Camille Vasquez, who worked with Johnny Depp during that trial from Hell, his agents at CAA, AND Adidas have dropped him over his antisemitic comments. And since he’s lost his longtime deal with Adidas, he also lost his billionaire status from Forbes. So now Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye is just Christian Dumbass Millionaire Kanye.

According to TMZ, Camille may have been able to make magic happen in Johnny’s contentious defamation battle against Amber Heard, but when it came to Kanye and his verbal diarrhea of antisemitic sentiments, she had personally heard enough. No matter, though, because Kanye has no plans of ever retracting his statements, and their business relationship actually ended faster than his ill-fated friendship-ruining political run.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us after Kanye doubled and tripled-down on his anti-Semitic remarks over the weekend, Camille informed her firm, Brown Rudnick, she would no longer work with Kanye.

We’re told Brown Rudnick still attempted to work with Kanye, but only under the condition he publicly retract his hateful and anti-Semitic words. Our sources say Kanye refused to do so, and fired Brown Rudnick.

You know, for someone who self-identifies as a genius, Kanye ain’t the brightest bulb in the box. And I realize his words and thoughts are about as tactful as a toddler battling nap time, but now the repercussions of his actions are starting to dig into his bank account. Because not only has he lost his new legal representation CNN reports Adidas has finally dropped him as well. All because of those comments he refuses to take back.

In a statement Tuesday, the sportswear maker said it “does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech” and said that his recent comments were “unacceptable, hateful and dangerous.” Adidas said they violated the company’s “values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Sales and production of his Yeezy branded products have stopped as well as payments to Ye and his companies. Adidas said it will take a €250 million hit ($246 million) to its fourth quarter sales.

Kanye has been working with Adidas since 2013. And Forbes says that when Kanye had his Yeezy deal with Adidas, his net worth was valued at $1.5 billion, but without that deal, his reported net worth gets chopped majorly:

Without Adidas, Ye is worth $400 million. The remainder of Ye’s fortune, Forbes estimates, comes from real estate, cash, his music catalog, and a 5% stake in ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s shapewear firm, Skims. (A source close to Skims told Forbes Ye hasn’t been involved with the brand since its 2019 launch.)

So far, Kanye’s mouth has cost him partnerships and business relationships with Gap, Balenciaga, Vogue, JP Morgan Chase, CAA, Johnny Depp’s lawyer, and now Adidas. But no matter how many more companies cut ties with Kanye, the biggest thing he’s lost will always be The Plot.
