When we last caught up with the conversations from inside The Batman casting room, we learned that Robert Pattinson’s Batman wasn’t going to be facing off against a sardonic stoner version of The Penguin (aka Jonah Hill was out). Paul Dano was confirmed as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz is Catwoman, and Jeffrey Wright is Commissioner Gordon. Now it looks like Colin Farrell is The Penguin.

The Governors Awards are a classy affair, you can just tell by the name. According to The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the GA are “an annual event celebrating awards conferred by the Academy’s Board of Governors – the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award.” Basically, they are really the precum of the actual Oscars. And now it looks like Matt Reeves got the ultimate Zoe Kravitz-type because he got Zoe Kravitz herself. And I think Sean Young just got the Guinness World Record for being the biggest robbery victim in history because she was ROBBED yet again!

So it looks like we can go ahead and push that rumor of a singing, dancing Catwoman out of the way. Because there’s a new list of possible Catwomans, and Vanessa Hudgens’ name isn’t on it. According to GeeksWorldwide, Warner Bros. has a shortlist of actresses they’re looking at to play Catwoman in The Batman, aka the Robert Pattinson Batman movie.
Jonah Hill And Jeffrey Wright Might Be Joining Robert Pattinson’s “Batman” Movie
We’re slowly finding out more about Robert Pattinson’s Batman movie, a project that sounds like a multi-episode second-season arc of an Entourage reboot, but is very, very real. The remaining Twihards out there are still going to have to wait to see if Kristen Stewart shows up as Bruce Wayne’s unimpressed friend who rolls her eyes and jokes that his secret underground batcave is “so basic.” But thanks to Deadline, we know who is rumored to appear in The Batman as the main villain and Commissioner Gordon.
