Billie Eilish And Her Boyfriend Jesse Rutherford Made Their Red Carpet Debut At The LACMA Art + Film Gala
A successful, independent young woman like Billie Eilish can’t be expected to go around twinning with her brother every time she’s got a red carpet event to dress for. In fact, it starts to look a little weird after a while. Billie seems to understand that now and used the annual LAMCA Art + Film Gala to take the opportunity to make her twinning red carpet debut with her boyfriend, The Neighbourhood frontman Jesse Rutherford. Unfortunately, Billie chose the wrong event because there was another set of twins on the red carpet that not only completely eclipsed the stars in attendance, but they also eclipsed the very moon and sun that shine above. Sure Billie and Jesse looked cute shrouded in a Gucci comforter over matching Gucci pajamas, but even one unprotected glance at Salma Hayek’s twin gaseous orbs has the power to render the viewer blind.
The 2022 SAG Awards Brought The Red Carpet Back To Awards Season
In this, our year of Fuck It, red carpets are back in full swing. You probably don’t remember last year’s Screen Actors Guild Awards since they were host-less, pre-taped and the nominees who bothered to dress up, did so from their backyards, on balconies, in front of white screens or, in Jared Leto’s case, standing on a bridge in what looks like Paris clutching a jewel-encrusted clam-shell looking like Fred from The Scooby Gang’s effete cousin who stopped eating carbs and tried to cover his Midwestern accent by pretending to be “European.” But this year, since COVID is but a mere memory, SAG busted out that dusty rug, hit it with a wet vac, and rolled that red carpet out so Jared could pose for the camera looking like Doc Holiday’s effete cousin who stopped eating carbs and tried to cover his Midwestern accent by pretending to be a 19th century “gentleman huckleberry farmer.”
Judith Light Once Again Delivered At The Critics’ Choice Awards (And Other Looks From The Night)
There was lots of glamour, color, and levity on display on the red carpet for last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards. And I’m going to go ahead and give all the credit to Judith Light. Judith set the tone, and everybody else did their level best to match her energy. There was probably a panicked buzz of “Judith Light, Judith Light, Judith Light” spreading among Hollywood stylists when they realized she was going to be there, forcing everyone to step up their game. Nobody quite got there, but they tried and that’s what counts. Ultimately, posing through Christian Siriano-made polka dots the size of dinner plates, Judith put all the kids on blast. If Judith wanted to be a real pal, she should have given a posing tutorial before the red carpet. Some people could really have used the help (see after the cut).
The 2019 Golden Globe Nominations Are Out, And Of Course “A Star Is Born” Got A Bunch
The nominations for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards were announced really early this morning, which seems unnecessary. Did everyone need to get up at the crack of dawn? Surely just one person could have grabbed their phone at 4am and texted Lady Gaga “Hey girl, ur officially one step closer to an Oscar nomination, c u at the ceremony.” But that would be just a little much, considering there are other movies that were released this year besides A Star is Born. Although, A Star Is Born didn’t get the most movies nominations, so everyone involved in the making of Vice, should expect to feel the e-mail wrath of the Little Monsters.
