Jeremy Strong Says He Actually Drank That Gross Smoothie In The “Succession” Finale

May 30, 2023 / Posted by:

HBO’s Succession is officially over, and as much as I enjoyed the show, I won’t miss the weekly assault on my poor, frayed nerves. For all 89 minutes of the series finale, I fully expected Kendall to die (drowning, murder, hurling himself off the top of an office building, etc.). And, because Jeremy Strong takes acting so seriously, I was also worried about his safety. When you die in Method Acting, you die in real life! Deadline reports that, in the official post-finale podcast, 44-year-old Jeremy discussed his method acting ways, including whether or not he actually drank that gross smoothie (duh, of course, he did). Obviously, SPOILERS abound in this post…

Beyond The Boring Ass Black Suit: Lil Nas X Served Silver Nalgas And Pedro Pascal Gave Us Leg At The Met Gala

May 2, 2023 / Posted by:

Since the Met Gala’s theme this year was a tribute to Kunty Karl, who was the overlord of Chanel for decades, there were more pearl necklaces than a bukkake convention and enough lace to pull David’s Bridal out of bankruptcy. There was also a sea of basic black suits since many dudes just rolled out of bed and into a boring ensemble their assistant picked up for them the day before at Brooks Brothers. But not every dude showed up dressed like they were going to a funeral (which was fitting since the real star of the Met Gala was born and died last night).

Billy Porter is usually the Maestro of Over-The-Top Fashun Foolery at the Met Gala, but he sat out this year. But luckily, Lil Nas X grabbed Billy’s sparkly baton and moistened tips by doing himself up like Liberace’s answer to the Tin Man. And Pedro Pascal also gave everyone a case of the tingles by simply showing off his slutty daddy legs.

Brian Cox Drags Method Acting Again And Wants Actors To Just “Read The Fucking Lines”

March 24, 2023 / Posted by:

The fourth and final season of HBO’s Succession starts on Sunday, and no one is probably happier about this than Brian Cox because it means he never has to deal with Jeremy Strong’s method fuckery ever again. Brian Cox has made his feelings about method acting very clear before (read: he hates it). Recently, he called Jeremy Strong a very good actor but said it’s “fucking annoying” to be around someone who is always in character. But Jeremy doesn’t mind and told GQ in a recent interview that Brian has “earned the right” to call out his method acting. And, well, Brian took advantage of that “right” once again during his appearance on Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Brian made sure we all know that he meant what he said.

Here’s The Trailer For The Fourth And Final Season Of HBO’s “Succession”

March 2, 2023 / Posted by:

Finally! The answer to the question we’ve all been asking Jeremy Strong for the past five years is upon us. Jeremy’s answer to Why so serious? has been revealed in the trailer for the upcoming 4th and final season of HBO’s Succession. About halfway through the trailer, Brian Cox, in character as Logan Roy, tells Jeremy, in mind, soul and body as Kendall Roy, that he and his siblings are “not serious people.” To which Jeremy, as Kendall both on and off screen, must surely have replied: “wanna bet?

Jeremy Strong Says That Brian Cox “Has Earned The Right” To Call His Method Acting “Annoying”

February 22, 2023 / Posted by:

The fourth season of Succession is on the horizon which means we have earned ourselves a treat from deliciously salty pee-paw Brian Cox for our patience. As we know from the many Werther’s Originals he’s dug out of his pockets in the past, Brian is of the Sir Lawrence Olivier Academy of Not Giving a Fuck and thinks that method actors, like Jeremy Strong who plays his son on Succession, are a total buzz kill. He’s said as much in the past. Even before (and during) that 2022 New Yorker profile highlighting what Jeremy calls his method of “autonomous concentration.” In a new interview with Town & Country, Brian says that The Jeremy School of Doing Too Much “is fucking annoying,” adding that he thinks he’s an incredible actor, but “when you’ve got the gift, celebrate the gift. Go back to your trailer and have a hit of marijuana, you know?

Master Thespian Jeremy Strong Learned How To Fix A Refrigerator To Play A Plumber In A Movie

June 9, 2022 / Posted by:

No disrespect to Jon Lovitz’s Master Thespian character from SNL – I know he takes his craft very seriously. But can he say that he was so committed to a role that he learned how to literately fix a refrigerator for a role? I think not. Only the deeply-committed capital-A actor Jeremy Strong would go to such lengths. And he did, according to Jeremy’s co-star and cheerleader Anne Hathaway, who recently revealed that he went all the way to prepare for a role as a plumber from Queens in the film Armageddon Time.
