Open Post: Hosted By Pedro Pascal Letting Us Know That He’s Done With The “Daddy” Stuff

Every once in a while, there’s an actor who comes along and causes floods of panty pudding among the masses. And the current summoner of saturated skivvies is Pedro Pascal, who has been making nipples dance for the past few years with roles in Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, and the latest HBO hit The Last Of Us. Because of his hard work (at being hot) Pedro has finally elevated to the sometimes unwanted status of the intern’s daddy, and he had no problems playing along at first. But now Pedro is ready to become the sexiest deadbeat you know while running far away from his Daddy duties because he is DONE being everyone’s fantasy father figure.
In January, at the premiere of The Last of Us, Entertainment Tonight reminded Pedro that he’s the internet’s daddy and showed him a thirst tweet from one of his fans, calling him a “cool slutty father.” At the time, Pedro was happy to look into the camera and say, “I am your cool, slutty daddy.”

But well, now Esquire Middle East reports Pedro will no longer answer to being called daddy, papi, or whatever monikers his fans use to inform him they wish he were tucking them into bed at night. And the end of his Daddy Era came after being asked for the one-millionth time to read dirty tweets about himself:
On the red carpet premiere for The Mandalorian, Access Hollywood yearned for virality once again by asking Pascal to “read to camera” a number of “thirst tweets” they had found on Twitter. For the unfamiliar, these are posts in which people talk about the attraction they have for a person in the most vulgar way possible.
“I would love if you could read a few thirst tweets that the internet has for you. If you could read them to camera,” the journalist says as she hands the phone to Pascal.
Pascal paused for a solid 30 seconds before finally answering with a smile: “No.”

That’s right, Pedro. NO MEANS NO! Well, in this case, “No” meant “Hold please” because moments later, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay from Extra was ready to bring it up once again. At the end of their brief interview regarding his Mandalorian character Din Djarin, Rachel reminded Pedro of his daddy status and asked him which daddy designation makes him the proudest. And after he gives his answer, you can tell the daddy discussion has finally broken his soul.
Rachel: Do you have a favorite Daddy?
Pedro: Yes, let’s go with Daddy Din
Rachel: Daddy Din….Daddy Din. I like Daddy Din.
Pedro: (pauses) Baby. Lil’ Baby Din. I wanna go from Daddy back to Baby.
And once again, the internet proves why we can’t have nice things. Pedro not wanting to be your daddy anymore will probably make him quit acting and switch to another career. Then again, if he does, Lil’ Baby Din would work perfectly as his name if he’s trying to break into the rap game.
