Rihanna Made Her Debut On The Sunday Times Rich List

May 14, 2020 / Posted by:

The Sunday Times Rich List. A thing I just heard of today. Apparently it’s like the Forbes List, but British. Yay. Ranking ridiculously rich people. Woohoo. There’s a bunch of different categories, so even more multi-millionaires can feel special. These lists include the richest people in Film & Television, Husbands and Wives, Sports Stars, Aristocrats, and more.

Rihanna, who’s lived in London for more than a year, decided to grace the Richest Musicians list with her beauty and glamour, debuting at #3. She’s right behind Andrew Lloyd Weber and Paul McCartney, who are tied at #1. Poor ALW. Now he’s got Patti LuPone AND Rihanna on his ass. Continue reading

Patti LuPone Gave Her Thoughts On “Cats” And Barbra Streisand As Mama Rose On “Watch What Happens Live”

April 28, 2020 / Posted by:

Here’s an easy one: What do Broadway legend Patti LuPone and professional shit-stirrer Andy Cohen have in common?

Answer: Both their Suns are in DRAMA, and their Moons are in SHADE.

This is why I never miss Patti on Watch What Happens Live!

Since recent corona-recoverer Andy knows La LuPone is afflicted by the same curse as Jim Carrey in Liar Liar, he can ask her whatever “messy” (hey, Lil’ Kim and Titus Burgess’ word, not mine) questions he wants and receive golden truth nuggets!

Taylor Swift And Andrew Lloyd Webber’s New Song “Beautiful Ghosts” From “Cats” Is Out

November 15, 2019 / Posted by:

Even though every frame is burned into my psyche, about every other week, give or take, I go back to re-watch the Cats trailer, just to be sure it’s real and not something we collectively fever dreamed as a coping mechanism for #thesetryingtimes. See if Cats is real, that means all the rest of this *gestures widely* is also real. Guys, it’s real. Further proof of Cats actually existing in this dimension is the release of Taylor Swift’s new song, Beautiful Ghosts, which she co-wrote with noted sad sack Andrew Lloyd Webber. I’ve listened to it and my verdict is: I want Scooter Braun to euthanize it.

Patti LuPone Called Andrew Lloyd Webber A “Sad Sack” And “A Jerk”

October 22, 2019 / Posted by:

Patti LuPone has no fucks left to give. In fact, I think Patti’s fuck fields have laid fallow since the mid-to-late 70s, and her fuck famine has persisted ever since. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still keep a tractor, which she uses with some frequency to drag her old nemesis Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. Patti’s returning to Broadway this spring with the revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company, so she’s doing some press. And whenever Patti does press, her long-standing feud with ALW usually comes up.

John Legend, Tim Rice And Andrew Lloyd Webber Are The Newest Inductees Into The EGOT Club

September 10, 2018 / Posted by:

I woke up this morning smelling something strange on the air. Then I read the news and realized what it was I was smelling: freshly minted EGOTs (tangy!).  According to Variety, three new EGOTs were born at last night’s Creative Arts Emmys, all thanks to Jesus Christ Superstar, Live In Concert. John Legend, Sir Andrew LLoyd Webber and Sir Tim Rice all reached that milestone few can boast. John won for producing the JCS for television, ALW and Tim won for composer and lyricist for the show they wrote back in 1970. It’s unusual for people to EGOT together like they did. Usually one person EGOTs first, and then helps their partner EGOT. And three people EGOTing at the same time, is, well it’s kind of impressive.

Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, And Ian McKellen Will Star In The “Cats” Movie

July 20, 2018 / Posted by:

Memoryyyyy…I still get chills when I think…of how awkward it was when….a man in a spandex cat suit slunk up to me in the audience of Caaaaaats.” Can you tell I’m still traumatized by the time fate dealt me the hand of hell by having me sit in an aisle seat for my first viewing of Cats? I am not an audience participation type, and so yeah – an aisle seat for Cats wasn’t a great experience. But I’m still a fan of Cats. So even though I cringed a little at “Taylor Swift,” I’m still into this news. Mostly because a film adaptation means there’s zero chance she’ll leap off the screen and do weird cat pantomimes around me while I try to hide behind my popcorn bag.
