According to Billboard, Taylor’s been subtly and not-so-subtly leaking lyrics from her upcoming album Midnights for months. So even if Taylor had stolen Lana’s shit, she’s laid down a paper trail that proves two separate artists can create similarly moody, melancholic drivel independently. With Midnights fast approaching (it drops at midnight tonight), Swifties across the globe were tipped off by Spotify on Twitter to look to the skies at midnight (what can’t she do?!) to catch a glimpse of a lyric from Midnights emblazoned on billboards from Mexico City, Mexico to Wuhan, China.
