Leona is the St. Paul, Minnesota toddler who is a living testament to solid parenting and the setting of a real foundation for a child for life on this planet. If only all of our parents could have prepared us for the world this way, we’d have much happier relationships, better jobs, and would live in our dream homes. Feeling despondent, angry, or depressed in the face of #thesetryingtimes? Well don’t worry, future first lady hopeful Kim Kardashian West understands. She’s just as in touch with the plight of the average American as her husband, presidential candidate Kanye West. Kim recently celebrated her 40th birthday, but since things are tough all over, she kept it simple with a low-key affair which involved flying her “closest inner circle” (which apparently does not include her husband) to a private island where they “danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more.” And lest you forget that Kim is a woman of the people, nay THE woman of the people (if Kanye gets his wish), Kim made sure to remind her fans that she is aware that “for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now.” So maybe try not to be so poor and gross anymore, OK? It’s kind of bumming everyone out.

Leave it to the Kardashians (LITTK, a show I’m pitching to E!) to turn a simple family birthday celebration into an overstuffed ode to materialism and vanity which includes their children being used as human billboards and Khloe Kardashian “clapping back” at people who accused them of not following social distancing protocols. The birthday boy in question is Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick, fresh from busting himself out of rehab after his picture was leaked to the press, who turned 37 on Tuesday. Scott actually enjoyed two separate birthday bashes with the family, neither of which were attended by Scott’s girlfriend of three years, Sofia Richie. Last week they were rumored to be broken up, and according to Us Weekly, her absence from Scott’s birthday celebrations means it’s official. Cue Cheech Marin going downstairs to investigate a ruckus only to find Lionel Richie dancing on the ceiling.
