Kanye West‘s presidential campaign is going as well as his wife Kim Kardashian‘s music career. Kanye is not on the ballot in most states and he’s sued to get on the ballot in other states, including Arizona, which failed. Kanye’s GOP-bolstered campaign has been an embarrassing disaster that has cost him almost $6 million of his own money so far. Spending $6 million on Yeezy prison slippers would be a better use of $6 million and that’s saying a lot. But well, it’s a good thing that Kanye has other things going on like his Sunday Service, which he held again yesterday, and it totally doesn’t look like a reboot of Midsommar.
The Hollywood Reporter says that according to Kanye’s campaign’s filings with the Federal Election Commission, he is the main contributor to his campaign. Wow, I am shocked that Kanye West is one of the only people on earth who is confident enough in President Kanye to donate actual money to this train wreck campaign.
The filing shows that Kanye personally loaned his campaign $6.7 million. The campaign has used $5.86 million so far. The filing lists Kanye’s job as “self-employed/entrepreneur,” which is strange because I thought he was a Christian Genius Billionaire?! There were eight other donations to the campaign assumingly from regular people (but we know he likes to fake people’s signatures…), which ranged from $200 to $1000. That’s still far too much for anyone to spend on a Kanye West Presidency.
But wait, there are still debts of the campaign totaling more than $1.2 million, and almost all of it is owed to “Fortified Consulting” of Tempe, Arizona. Coincidentally, the company shares an address with the Lincoln Consulting Group which is a political consulting agency co-founded by Nathan Sproul, who is the former executive director of the Arizona Republican Party. But don’t think that means anything! Remember Kanye swore he’s not in cahoots with the Republicans even though he owes money to a Republican Party political consulting agency. Totally not related!
Kanye was also banned from appearing on the ballot in Arizona because he is a registered Republican and cannot share a ballot with the current Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Kanye is appealing that ruling.
Meanwhile, TMZ said that Kanye continued his Sunday Service by walking on water with Joel Osteen. Which coincidentally is also what Houston flood victims had to do after Joel wouldn’t let them into his megachurch during Hurricane Harvey.

I’m sure they got a lot of footage of that walk on water, because it’s the kind of thing that Kanye’s Christian Tik-Tok crowd will go wild for. Hopefully, they did the Say So-dance while walking on water for Jesus!
