Lucy Liu Talked About Her Altercation With Bill Murray On The Set Of “Charlie’s Angels”
The story about Lucy Liu and Bill Murray getting into it on the set of the 2000 film Charlie’s Angels has been rattling around Hollywood for two decades. Legend had it that Bill stopped a scene mid-take, pointed to Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy in order, and said, “I get why you’re here, and you’ve got talent….but what in the hell are you doing here. You can’t act!” Um, rude. Then, Lucy *allegedly* “blew her lid” and “attacked” Bill. Apparently, this altercation was at least part of the reason Bill didn’t return as Bosley for the 2003 sequel.
Earlier this month the story got dredged up again when Shaun O’Banion, who says he was a production assistant on Charlie’s Angels, tweeted his version of events. Basically, Shaun says Bill upset the three female leads, Lucy told him he was way outta line, Bill insulted her (saying that she was just a TV actress, and this was the “big leagues”), Lucy responded with “Fuck you, you fucking cocksucker!”, and then she ran off the stage crying. Shaun said “no punches were thrown,” and called Bill’s behavior “really belittling and shitty.” Now Lucy is opening up about her side of things on the Los Angeles Times Asian Enough podcast. She says Bill was hurling insults at her, she stood up for herself, and she doesn’t regret it a goddamn thing. All the women! Who are INDEPENDENT! Throw your hands up at me!
Drew Barrymore Left A Flirty Little Comment On Leonardo DiCaprio’s Instagram Page
A funny thing happened this week. I was reminded that Leonardo DiCaprio has an Instagram account and an active one at that. Maybe I forgot he was on social media because he doesn’t spend his days uploading 10+ Instagram Stories about polishing his Oscar with his favorite trophy polish (#ad), or posting shirtless thirst traps in his pool with captions like, “Is there room on the door for me now? [winky face emoji].” But we were all reminded about Leo’s Instagram presence, thanks to Drew Barrymore, after she slipped into the comments section of a recent post about climate change, and laid on some heavy flattery.

Woody Allen is in the news again. I’m sure that delusional creep probably thinks it’s good press, like that he made the #2 spot on a BuzzFeed list titled: 26 of the Hottest Over-80 Directors in Sloppy Ill-Fitting Corduroy Pants. But it’s the same reason why Woody Allen’s name usually shows up, which is that there is yet another famous actor who has publicly acknowledged that they really don’t feel great about having worked with him in the past. This time it’s Drew Barrymore, who not only regrets working with Woody but says she now realizes she was gaslit into it.
Jessica Simpson Claims That Publicists Advised Their Clients Not To Date Her
While we’re clearly supposed to wonder exactly which clients were told to steer clear of Jessica Simpson, now 40, way back in 2005 when she divorced Nick Lachey; all I can do is scratch my head at why Jessica’s publicist at the time didn’t go full four-legged parent, grab her by the scruff of the neck, plop her behind a tree, and warn her not to date professional douchewad and all-around indiscreet creep, John Mayer. This is the sound advice we all need in life and would have spared her a lot of misery.
This question will forever go unanswered, and John is now douchebagging his way through the totally pristine and untrodden (to him) terrain of white male privilege, wondering little more than how to parlay this pseudo-woke chapter into landing more napalm ass. It’s gray, it’s short, it’s easy, breezy, beautiful. Allison explained that she was over hair color and wearing extensions, wigs, and hairpieces. Now she’s free! Freeee!
Drew Barrymore Says She Has No Plans To Act Again
Drew Barrymore is done with marriage, she’s done with drugs, and she’s done with acting, for now. Drew spilled this tea on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show after he asked her which of her co-stars had the worst breath. JK, he didn’t, but that shady bitch would. Andy actually asked if Drew had any plans to make more movies, or if hosting her talk show The Drew Barrymore Show was her official full-time gig. Drew answered that she had no plans to keep acting, but that might change when her kids get older. She says she hasn’t done films since she gave birth to her daughters, Olive, 8, and Frankie, 6. Her last big theatrical release was 2014’s Adam Sandler comedy, Blended. She recently starred in something called The Stand-In, but it only got 31% on Rotten Tomatoes and also starred T.J. Miller. So we’re not counting that!
