Anderson Cooper Says He Won’t Leave His Son An Inheritance

September 27, 2021 / Posted by:

Anderson Cooper is from money. Old, old money. His great-great-great maternal grandfather was Cornelius “The Commodore” Vanderbilt, who built a railroad and shipping empire, has a university named after him, and was worth $105 million at the time of his 1877 death. Experts determined that Cornelius’ fortune would be worth about $143 billion in modern times, making the Vanderbilt patriarch the second richest person in U.S. history (some old Rockefeller was #1).

Anderson has written a new book about his family’s history, entitled, Vanderbilt: The Rise and Fall of an American Dynasty, and over the weekend he went on the Morning Meeting podcast to talk about the book, money, and his 1-year-old son, Wyatt. Unfortunately for Wyatt, Anderson shared that he will not be leaving him an inheritance, because it’s not something he believes in. Well, at least he gave the kid a head’s up. There will be no threats of, “Wyatt, clean the east wing of your bedroom or you’ll be written out of my will, posthaste!”

After The COVID-19 Fiasco On “The View,” Ana Navarro Says She’s Tested Negative Twice

September 25, 2021 / Posted by:

On yesterday’s live taping of The View, the show got two unexpected guest hosts in the form of positive COVID-19 tests. One quick Whoopi fart second before Vice President Kamala Harris was supposed to come out, co-hosts Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin were told by a producer to GTFO because they had just tested positive for Coronavirus. It was a moment almost as awkward as Kelly Osbourne thinking she really did something when she asked Donald Trump who’s going to clean his toilets if he deports Latino immigrants. Okay, not nearly as messy as that. But after some screamed STUNT and others thought that this was all a ruse to get out of asking Kamala Harris the tough questions about the situation at the border, Ana Navarro piped up to say that they were all ready to ask the hard questions and added that she’s since taken two more Coronavirus tests and both came back negative.

A Former QAnon Conspiracy Believer Apologized To Anderson Cooper For Thinking He Ate Babies

February 1, 2021 / Posted by:

We’ve reached the part of the American political narrative where on CNN a former QAnon-conspiracy theorist had to apologize to Anderson Cooper for thinking he ate actual babies. Clearly, humanity took a wrong turn some time ago and we’re just rolling downhill to our demise. But hey, at least he apologized. That’s a teeny tiny start. And this QAnoner probably now has a higher opinion of Anderson than Kathy Griffin.

Open New Year’s Day Post: Hosted By Cyndi Lauper’s NYE Performance

January 1, 2021 / Posted by:

Because too much Ryan Seacrest gives me a serious case of the farts, I only watched pieces of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve last night, so I completely missed the performance by Cyndi Lauper. But after she performed, I started to see tweets and headlines about how “bizarre” it was. I shrugged because she IS so unusual and I like my Cyndi Lauper performances “bizarre.” And then I figured out that by “bizarre,” everyone meant bad. Well, looks like Hell’s Special Place is going to be a lot more crowded with those who spent the last minutes of 2020 dragging legendary goddess Cyndi Lauper!

Anderson Cooper Is Still Totally Over It, But Apologized For His “Obese Turtle” Comment Anyway

November 8, 2020 / Posted by:

On Friday, which feels like 1962 at this point, Mieka posted about CNN‘s Anderson Cooper calling lame-duck-to-be Donald Trump an “obese turtle.” More specifically, “an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun.

That’s a lot of cute and adorable members of the animal kingdom getting done WRONG by humans, and we’re all awaiting a cease-and-desist from the fearsome duck and turtle unions.

An Over It Anderson Cooper Called Donald Trump And “Obese Turtle”

November 6, 2020 / Posted by:

Four days (or is it decades?) into this election, and the lawsuits are already flying. Sitting president Donald Trump has mounted cases in no fewer than three states, and the International Turned Over Turtle Alliance has filed one against CNN’s Anderson Cooper for slander, defamation, emotional abuse, and intolerable cruelty after he called the President “an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun.” We knew this was going to be a gloves-off election, but some folks feel that Anderson took things a step too far causing great harm and humiliation to the innocent overturned turtle community in a desperate attempt to secure the title of CNN’s resident edgelord.
