A Former QAnon Conspiracy Believer Apologized To Anderson Cooper For Thinking He Ate Babies

We’ve reached the part of the American political narrative where on CNN a former QAnon-conspiracy theorist had to apologize to Anderson Cooper for thinking he ate actual babies. Clearly, humanity took a wrong turn some time ago and we’re just rolling downhill to our demise. But hey, at least he apologized. That’s a teeny tiny start. And this QAnoner probably now has a higher opinion of Anderson than Kathy Griffin.

On Friday, Anderson did a two-hour special for CNN about QAnon and spoke with an ex-believer, Jitarth Jadeja, who literally used to think Anderson ate babies and not in a jokey “Anderson swallows” kind of way. Actual babies! In case you aren’t completely familiar with QAnon, Business Insider has a summary of the conspiracy led by the titular unknown peddler of the information:

The discredited far-right conspiracy theory alleges that an elusive cabal of Satanic pedophiles, who are thought to be part of the “deep state,” work together to undermine former President Donald Trump.

Many of the followers believed that Trump would eventually arrest liberal celebrities and influential Democrats and send them to Guantanamo Bay prison.

Apparently, after Joe Biden was inaugurated people started to think QAnon was bullshit. Partly because at the inauguration Donald Trump was supposed to declare martial law and hold public executions of the cabal members. I’m shocked that didn’t happen. Clearly, we need to hear from someone who would believe such a thing and Anderson delivered us Jitarth.

At the start of the interview, Cooper asked Jadeja: “Did you, at the time, believe that high-level Democrats and celebrities were worshipping Satan and drinking the blood of children?”

“I thought you did that, and I would like to apologize for that right now. I apologize for thinking that you ate babies.”

Apparently, Anderson was a specific target of Q and there were rumors he was a “robot.” Jitarth said:

“It’s because Q specifically mentioned you and mentioned you early on. He mentioned you by name.”

The crazy kept coming with Jitarth mentioning that QAnon also believes in bird aliens:

“I at one stage believed that QAnon was part of military intelligence–which is what he says–but on top of that, that the people behind him were actually a group of fifth-dimensional, intra-dimensional, extra-terrestrial, bipedal bird-aliens called Blue Avians.”

Here’s the clip where Jitarth apologized to Anderson for thinking he was a baby-eater:

Okay, but these ex-conspiracy theory lunatics have a lot of people to make amends to. Lots of celebrities got brushed into the whole child sex-trafficking-narrative, whether Q mentioned them or not. When there’s a televised apology to Hilary Duff, only then would I even consider taking any former Q-er a shred seriously ever again.
