The Man Who Shot Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Was Sentenced To 21 Years In Prison
Despite the fact that law enforcement and the justice system are known to be stalwart, trustworthy institutions, somehow, the gunman in the February 2021 attack in which Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was brutally beaten and shot, and two of her three French bulldogs were stolen was accidentally released from prison because of a “clerical error” back in April while awaiting trial. Oopsie! But luckily, the gunman, 19-year-old James Howard Jackson, was recaptured a few months later and was just sentenced to 21 years in the slammer for his role in the attack.
Kirstie Alley Has Died At 71 From Colon Cancer
Maybe it’s just me, but around the holidays, it feels like there are a few shocking celebrity deaths, and there was one last night. It was announced that Kirstie Alley had died after a short fight with cancer. Kirstie’s children with Parker Stevenson, True Stevenson and Lillie Parker Stevenson, said in a statement that she was only recently diagnosed with colon cancer and was getting treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. They were with Kirstie at the time of her death.

George Clooney Was Doubly Honored At The Kennedy Center Honors When Julia Roberts Came Wearing His Face
Last night some of the biggest stars in Hollywood gathered in New York City to rub elbows with the Washington elite at the 45th annual Kennedy Center Honors. Due to the pandemic and former president Donald Trump’s boycott of the awards, this is the first big gala in five years and the stars came dressed to impress. This year’s honorees included Gladys Knight and all four of the Irish Pips, sometimes referred to as U2, Christian pop singer Amy Grant, Cuban American composer-conductor Tania León (not to be confused with Lydia Tár, totally different lady), and Nespresso dude George Clooney. There were a couple of surprises at the ceremony. For one, Sacha Baron Cohen showed up in character as Borat even though I thought we had decided as a group after 2020’s presidential election that satire was dead. Also, there was Emma Roberts’ aunt, actress Julia Roberts, who is, apparently, strangely obsessed with George Clooney.
