Rihanna and her baby bump have been making the rounds ever since she revealed that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child. We’ve seen RiRi’s bump in a series of gorgeous pregnancy reveal pictures on the streets of New York City, then on Instagram in a tasteful bump-profile mirror selfie, and finally on the red carpet of an industry event. It probably had people thinking, “What’s even left at this point? A VOGUE cover?” and they would have been correct. Because Rihanna just rihvealed that she and her baby stomach posed for a series of artistic high-fashion pictures for VOGUE’s May issue, like the one seen above, featuring Rihanna and in-utero child working a tomato red lace catsuit with matching gloves and heels. You know, just something she picked up last minute at her local maternity store, tucked between the beige nursing bras and compression socks.

Over the weekend, hundreds gathered at Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner’s lavish estate for their 27-year-old actress/model/heiress daughter Nicola Peltz, and 23-year-old aspiring chef/former amateur photographer/probable future DJ Brooklyn Beckham’s, very first weddings.

THE QUEEN And Anya Taylor-Joy Both Cover April’s British Vogue
When I heard THE QUEEN was sharing the April cover of British Vogue with THE QUEEN’S Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, I figured the two were posing together. Both pouting and play-fighting over the crown, maybe even… partially clothed? And the headline would be something like, “She’s Not Dead Yet!” Alas, the actual issue is two “special twin covers.” One with present-day Anya, the other with THE QUEEN circa 1957. Vogue says it’s a “platinum salute” to the 70th anniversary of THE QUEEN’S accession, aka the Platinum Jubilee. Sigh. Missed opportunity, but whatever.
This Year’s Met Gala Co-Chairs Have Been Announced, And The Theme Is “Gilded Glamour”
The Met Gala usually happens on the first Monday in May every year, but things got messy when COVID hit back in 2020. The 2020 Met Gala, the theme of which was “About Time,” was quickly canceled. The 2021 Met Gala was postponed, and later held four months later in September, the theme being “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” But the 2022 Met Gala is returning to its traditional spot on the first Monday in May, and it’s pretty clear Anna Wintour has an HBO Max subscription because this year’s theme is “Gilded Glamour.” I can practically hear Christine Baranski’s snobby old Agnes van Rhijn whispering to her sister Ada, “How nice for the new money set to have such an opportunity to show off what they recently purchased from Montgomery Ward.”
