Olivia Wilde covers the January issue of Vogue, and in the interview she talks about her relationship to Harry Styles. Last November, it was reported that Olivia and Jason Sudeikis split after almost a decade together. Less than two months later, Olivia, 37, and Harry, 27, made their couple debut after meeting on the set of the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling (she directed, they both star). Billionaire Heiress Ivy Love Getty Got Married In An Over-The-Top Wedding Officiated By Nancy Pelosi
Now for a reminder that you’re poor as shit. Introducing Ivy Love Getty, the great-granddaughter of oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. J. Paul was the billionaire who refused to pay his grandson’s kidnapping ransom in 1973. He was initially played by Kevin Spacey in All the Money in the World, and then replaced by Christopher Plummer. Donald Sutherland also played him in the FX series Trust. The Getty family is also known for Getty Images, the Getty Research Institute, their museum, and Sienna Miller’s ex Balthazar Getty, who is a cousin (I think) of Ivy’s. Anywho, 26-year-old “model/artist” Ivy is very rich, bitch, and over the weekend she got married to photographer Tobias Alexander Engel in San Francisco. Nancy Pelosi officiated, and, like Lena Dunham before her, the nuptials were featured in Vogue.
Adele Did Vogue’s “73 Questions” And Showed Off A Wad Of Celine Dion’s Used Chewing Gum
Nobody is ever going to accuse Adele of not doing enough to promote her 4th studio album, 30. In addition to appearing on both the British and American covers, Adele did the 73 Questions thing for Vogue and even though he wasn’t anywhere in the vicinity (as far as we know, he might have been lurking in the bushes wearing that horny mouse costume), James Corden still managed to wriggle his way into the spotlight! Adele says that James, who is a producer on her upcoming concert special for CBS, gifted her with her most prized possession — a piece of Celine Dion’s ABC gum, framed, that he had her spit into a piece of paper after she appeared on Carpool Karaoke. Adele showed off the gift about 70 questions in, just as I had been lulled into passivity by her low, dulcet voice and languid, slow-blinking eyelashes. Took me right out of it, almost as if a giant mouse jumped out in front of my car and started humping my side mirror.
Adele Is On The Covers Of British And American Vogue
Adele is the November cover girl for both the American and British issues of Vogue, which were simultaneously released today. According to Vogue, this has never happened in the history of the world (although, Rihanna did it in 2016), but Adele’s got a long-awaited album to promote, so lady’s pulling out all the stops. Adele gave separate interviews to both magazines, but only British Vogue gets to brag that they’re “her first interview in five years.” Sounds like Anna Wintour lost the coin toss! Continue reading
Lena Dunham’s Wedding Was Featured In Vogue And Taylor Swift Was A Bridesmaid
Since Lena Dunham usually shares a lot of her private moments on Instagram, one might have thought that her recent marriage to musician Luis Felder was a simple affair given the lack of coverage on her page. Not so! In fact, it was a big to-do and was covered in the pages of Vogue. The bride wore three separate custom gowns by her friend Christoper Kane and the groom wore his fishiest fisherman’s sweater, the one with the good holes! Oh, and Taylor Swift (pictured above with Lena in an old pic) was a bridesmaid. Lord knows you can’t have what Vogue describes as a “whimsical, whirlwind London wedding” without Taylor Swift catching wind.
Anna Wintour Defended The Awful Vogue Cover Of Kamala Harris
Vogue has not had the best track record with Black people recently. Last year, Anna Wintour had to apologize that her magazine wasn’t inclusive and for “hurtful and intolerant” behavior. And most recently, Vice-President Elect, Kamala Harris got shafted by the magazine and they released a print cover (on the right, the digital cover is on the left) featuring Kamala giving us an “I’m constipated and smiling anyway,” pose. Anna got rightfully dragged by her bob, but she won’t accept the criticism. She has an explanation. Anna says she wanted Kamala to look “accessible” and “approachable.” This makes sense to me because Anna was trying to appeal to what she thinks a “regular” person is like. Of course, she thinks peasants look bad.
