But as expected, they both temporarily set aside their differences today in London, to unveil a statue dedicated to their late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, on what would have been her 60th birthday.

Well, sorry, British tabloids, but it looks like Meghan Markle could not wait until the late Prince Philip’s birthday on June 10th to give birth to her baby so that she could snatch away all the attention from the British Royal Family again! Meghan gave birth to her and Prince Hot Ginge’s second child, a daughter, on Friday. And their new baby’s name is a tribute to Harry’s mother and memaw. No, Harry and Meghan didn’t name their daughter Gin Time Diana or Corgina People’s Princess. They have named her Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Over the past six months, an independent investigation was conducted into Martin Bashir’s 1995 Panorama interview with Princess Diana, specifically, whether or not he manipulated Diana into agreeing to speak, by faking some bank statements that made it look as though some of her closest inner circle were selling details of her personal life. One year after it aired, the fake bank statements came to light, and the BBC stated that they didn’t matter, and that was that. Until 2020, when a third-party investigation happened. And yesterday, it was officially determined that Martin Bashir’s methods for landing that interview were deceitful. It’s a sad situation, made only sadder when you remember that Princess Diana died less than two years after she told her truth in that Panorama interview. Both Prince William and Prince Harry have decided to comment on the situation, and to the surprise of no one, they’re both pretty hurt.

Back in November 1995, several million people spent 54 minutes with their eyes glued to their television sets when the BBC aired an exclusive one-on-one interview with Princess Diana on the news series Panorama. The interview was conducted by journalist Martin Bashir, and it’s where we learned everything the Royal Family didn’t want you to know about Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles, like that it was an awful, miserable time for Diana (they had been legally separated for three years by the time of the interview). That Panorama interview also gave us Diana’s iconic quote about there being “three of us” in their marriage (aka Charles, Diana, and Duchess Camilla). It was a super-secret interview that shocked everyone, and probably had a whole lot of people wondering how Martin Bashir convinced her to agree to such a public dragging of her very famous husband. Well, after a long investigation, it has been decided that Martin Bashir wasn’t exactly honest with Diana when he was trying to land the gig of the century.
CBS Released Two Teaser Trailers For Oprah’s Interview With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Not since Geraldo Rivera was hyping The Mystery of Al Capone’s Vault has the world been so beside itself with rabid anticipation as it has been waiting for CBS to drop this Oprah Winfrey interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. So you can be damn sure CBS is going to milk that shit for every penny they had to pay Oprah to get her to sit in a wicker chair for two hours. As such, CBS just dropped two new teaser trailers for the interview letting us know that the conversation will be Princess Diana-forward. Additionally, “some pretty shocking things” will be uttered, and an “almost unsurvivable” ordeal will be recounted.
