Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s New Daughter Is Here And They Named Her After THE QUEEN And Princess Diana

Well, sorry, British tabloids, but it looks like Meghan Markle could not wait until the late Prince Philip’s birthday on June 10th to give birth to her baby so that she could snatch away all the attention from the British Royal Family again! Meghan gave birth to her and Prince Hot Ginge’s second child, a daughter, on Friday. And their new baby’s name is a tribute to Harry’s mother and memaw. No, Harry and Meghan didn’t name their daughter Gin Time Diana or Corgina People’s Princess. They have named her Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

When Harry and Meghan announced that they were expecting another child, they made the announcement with an artsy black-and-white picture featuring Harry’s feet royale. They have yet to release an artsy black-and-white baby announcement picture featuring Harry’s hooves touching Baby Lil’s feet, but they did release a statement saying that Meghan gave birth on Friday, June 4, at 11:40 AM at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA. They also explained that they went with the name Lilibet because it’s THE QUEEN’s nickname. Here’s the full statement courtesy of TMZ:

So Lili’s full name is an homage to Harry’s side of the family. If I was on Meghan’s side of the family, I’d probably be sniffing myself to see if I smell like chopped liver.

As that statement says, two-year-old Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor now has a little sister. Lilibet Diana is not the only one in the royal family whose name is a tribute to THE QUEEN and Princess Diana. The full name of Prince William and Duchess Kate’s 6-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. That’s not awkward at all, and I’m sure The Daily Mail is already opening up a department devoted to pitting those little girls against each other.

Congrats to Meghan, PHG, Archie, and Lili! And somewhere in the UK, Piers Morgan’s fingers are probably exploding as he throbs with rage while trying to write a tweet slamming Harry and Meghan for using THE QUEEN’s nickname in their daughter’s name when they hate the Royal Family!!!!!11!!!!
