CBS Released Two Teaser Trailers For Oprah’s Interview With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Not since Geraldo Rivera was hyping The Mystery of Al Capone’s Vault has the world been so beside itself with rabid anticipation as it has been waiting for CBS to drop this Oprah Winfrey interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. So you can be damn sure CBS is going to milk that shit for every penny they had to pay Oprah to get her to sit in a wicker chair for two hours. As such, CBS just dropped two new teaser trailers for the interview letting us know that the conversation will be Princess Diana-forward. Additionally, “some pretty shocking things” will be uttered, and an “almost unsurvivable” ordeal will be recounted.

*SPOILER ALERT*

That almost unsurvivable ordeal? Meghan and Harry also had to sit in wicker chairs for two hours. Oh, the humanity! According to The Hollywood Reporter:

CBS dropped first-look pictures and teaser trailers of Oprah Winfrey’s much-anticipated interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

In the two-hour primetime special, titled Oprah With Meghan and Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sit down for their first in-depth television interview. It is set to air Sunday, March 7, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

In the interview, Winfrey first speaks one-on-one with Markle about why the Sussexes stepped away from royal life, her marriage to the prince and her philanthropic work, as well as the intense press scrutiny and public pressures the couple has faced. In the clip, Winfrey says “nothing is off-limits” and promises some “shocking things” will be said.

Prince Harry joins the interview later, and the couple talk about their move to the U.S. and their plans for the future, as well as making allusions to the difficulties both Markle and Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, faced with press scrutiny.

Here the first clip. You can tell things are going to be very shocking indeed by the single note being played on the piano which is normally reserved for interviews with serial killers. This is fitting since according to Prince William and Duchess Kate, they practically are. How do you think poor Prince Philip landed in the hospital and is STILL in the hospital? That’s right, attempted murder by appall.

And here’s the second one. The music for this one is letting us know it won’t be all betrayal and intrigue, it will also be heartwarming and a sincere reminder that Prince Harry’s mom was Princess Diana, The People’s Princess, as seen on the hit Golden Globe-winning Netflix series The Crown!
