Halyna Hutchins’ Family Has Sued Alec Baldwin And Others For Wrongful Death
The family of late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins is suing Alec Baldwin for wrongful death for his involvement in the tragic accidental shooting on the set of Rust back in October. The lawsuit claims Alec “recklessly shot and killed Halyna Hutchins.” It’s not just Alec who’s being sued; defendants also include armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, assistant director David Hall, a bunch of production companies, and the company that provided the ammunition. Despite Alec’s interview claim that he never pulled the trigger on the gun that killed Halyna, the suit is saying he did. They allege that Alec pulling the trigger, plus many, many lapses in safety on-set, led to Halyna’s death.

Honestly, the most shocking part of this story is that Andrew was able to find enough money between the cushions in his couch.

Alec Baldwin Is Being Sued For Defamation By The Family Of A Deceased Marine
Alec Baldwin’s lawyers have no doubt been bracing themselves for more lawsuits related to the fatal shooting on the New Mexico set of Rust, so one can imagine this is not the lawsuit they saw coming. Alec is being sued by the family of a deceased Marine, after he accused said Marine’s family members of being present at the Capitol Building riot in Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021. According to the lawsuit, Alec called out the sister of the deceased Marine to his 2.4 million Instagram followers, some of which then proceeded to send her death threats and harmful messages. So, she got a lawyer, and now wants justice in the form of a jury trial.
