Nicki Minaj And Her Husband Are Being Sued Again, This Time Over An Alleged Altercation At A Concert

Nicki Minaj’s lawyers continue to stay busy. Nicki and her husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty are dealing with another lawsuit and this time it’s over a messy tag-team altercation that allegedly happened between Nicki and Kenneth, and two German security guards.

This situation happened in March 2019, at a concert Nicki performed at in Germany during the European leg of her Nicki Wrld Tour. According to a lawsuit that was recently filed by Thomas Weidenmuller, things got tense after Nicki came backstage and complained about a man who was allowed on stage with her. Thomas, who was head of security for the show, claims that Nicki targeted the female security guard who she believed allowed the man on stage, and proceeded to call the security guard “a fucking bitch.” Thomas claims that the security guard was in tears after the incident so Thomas decided to intervene and see what was going on. It only got worse from there. via TMZ:

According to the suit, Nicki screamed at him too, saying, “Who do you think you are?” … and allegedly threw her shoe at him. He says her aim was off, and he escaped unscathed.

However, he claims he was later called back to Nicki’s room for another discussion … and while she ripped into him again, Kenneth allegedly came outta nowhere and punched him square in the face, breaking his jaw.

Thomas claims in the lawsuit that he has since had eight surgeries to repair his jaw, and will need an additional six operations to make sure everything is a-ok with his jaw and the five plates that were required to be inserted into his face. He’s suing Kenneth for obvious reasons (aka for turning him into Robocop with all that metal in his busted face). But he’s also suing Nicki because he alleges that she was the one who instigated the situation.

Of course, this recent lawsuit is on top of Nicki and Kenneth’s other lawsuit. Earlier this week we learned that Jennifer Hough, Kenneth’s attempted rape victim, plans to refile her lawsuit again Nicki for harassment in California.

It makes sense that Thomas Weidenmuller would bring Nicki into this. I’m not a lawyer, but if Nicki hadn’t started raising the energy in the room, Kenneth probably wouldn’t have started going around and allegedly popping security guards in the jaw. But I can’t believe Thomas didn’t accuse Nicki of more than just instigation. Like, where is the allegation of attempted assault with a shoe? I know it’s not a great idea to mess with Nicki and Kenneth, but please think of the jokes Thomas’ lawyer could have gotten had made a bigger deal of the shoe-throwing business. You don’t even have to do a full 5 minutes’ worth of material. Just a single joke implying Nicki’s shoe-throwing aim is so bad, she should consider taking lessons from Cardi B.
