Prince Andrew Is Trying To Push Through The Sale Of His Swiss Chalet To Cover His Legal Bills Because His Mother Refuses To Help

I know a lot of attention has been on Ghislaine Maxwell lately, what with her sex trafficking conviction and all, but has anybody stopped to think about how hard these past few months have been for Prince Andrew? Ghislaine’s a big girl, she can take care of herself, but Andrew is as vulnerable and helpless as a newborn lamb. And ever since he was sued by Virginia Giuffre for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was a minor, he’s more bewildered than ever! It’s gotten so bothersome in fact that even his mother THE QUEEN can’t help him now. Or at least, whoever is Weekend At Bernie’s-ing Her Majesty at the moment, refuses to help. According to The Daily Mail, Andrew is currently trying to push through the sale of his and Sarah Ferguson’s Swiss Chalet because Liz refuses to pay his mounting legal fees. His only other option is to become a cat burglar and sneak into Princess Michael of Kunt’s Nazi war chest for looted gold!
Back in December of 2019, Fergie and her Prince Smarming were sued by Swiss socialite Isabella de Rouvre for failing to make the final payment of $9 million on the chalet they bought from her in 2014 for the agreed price of $22.75 million. What little he did manage to pay was paid for with a mortgage and a private loan from mummy. For what it’s worth, this was well after Fergie apologized for borrowing $24,000 from Jeffrey Epstein. Last September we heard that a sale of the chalet was imminent and that the money from the sale would go toward bolstering the Pauper Prince’s legal fund. But apparently, it’s a buyers market out there for spiritually haunted ski chalets. Poor Andrew, I guess even Roman Polanski won’t take his calls anymore. DM reports:
Prince Andrew is reportedly trying to force through the sale of his £17million Swiss ski chalet to help foot the bill for his spiralling legal costs as he fights sexual abuse allegations made by Virginia Roberts.
According to The Mirror, the Duke of York is attempting to speed up the sale of the luxurious property because his mother the Queen will not pay his lawyers’ fees.
Andrew bought the seven-bedroom Chalet Helora, in the luxury Swiss resort of Verbier with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in 2014 for £16.6million. It emerged last year that Andrew was selling the property.
The Sun just reported that “a buyer has been found and a price has been agreed” and that “things are proceeding. It has not been completed yet. But it is hoped to be very soon.” In other words, the cheque is in the mail.
But the Duke will first have to pay off Isabella de Rouvre who loaned the duke money to buy the chalet and sued him for £7million 18 months ago.
He could be left with around £10million that he can use to fund his US lawyers or even offer a settlement to sex abuse accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
I imagine his legal bills are already astronomical, and there’s no relief in sight. As soon as today, Judge Lewis Kaplan is expected to rule “whether or not Andrew will face a full civil trial in New York after his lawyers argued this week that Miss Roberts’ case should not go to trial because of a 2009 civil settlement she made with Epstein.” Crazy how Andrew’s former casual acquaintance Epstein keeps rearing his ugly head, especially considering how dead he is.
If the case does go to trial and Andrew loses, Ms Roberts could be awarded a settlement which legal experts have predicted could be as much as £3million.
It emerged this week that Prince Andrew could settle out of court with Ms Roberts to avoid the case going to trial.
I hope that today is not the end but rather another step in justice being served. Maxwell did not act alone. Others must be held accountable. I have faith that they will be.

Multiple sources have reported that regardless of the judge’s decision, Virginia is unlikely to settle, therefore forcing Andrew to stand trial. At this point, The Firm really ought to consider rechristening The RMS Queen Mary ship to The SOS Hail Mary. Because Andrew is running out of options real quick.
