Ghislaine Maxwell Has Been Found Guilty Of Sex Trafficking A Minor
It looks like 2021 isn’t a flaming pile of shit-wrapped tonsil stones after all. First, Josh Duggar was found guilty of downloading and possessing child sexual abuse materials, and today, a jury found predatory ghoul Ghislaine Maxwell guilty of all but one charge in her sex trafficking trial. It may be December 29 but the Christmas gifts keep coming!
In summer 2020, Ghislaine Maxwell was FINALLY busted by the feds for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. This came one year after Epstein died in a jail cell while awaiting his sex trafficking trial. Ghislaine was hit with 6 charges for grooming and abusing underage girls from 1994 to 2004 in New York, New Mexico, Florida, and Epstein’s Pedo Island. Ghislaine’s trial started last month, and over the course of three weeks, 30 witnesses, including several victims, testified. The victims testified how Epstein abused them when they were minors and Ghislaine helped him and sometimes participated.
It was looking like the prosecution threw the case and that 2021 was going to end with Lucifer cackling over Ghislaine getting set free. But thankfully, that didn’t happen, and the jury wiped the smug off her face by finding her guilty of 5 charges. via NBC News:
A jury of six men and six women reached the verdict in the federal sex trafficking trial in New York City on Wednesday after six days of deliberations that bookended the holiday weekend. As deliberations dragged on, Judge Alison Nathan, who oversaw the case, worried that the omicron variant and rising coronavirus cases in the city could lead to a mistrial and had told the jury if no verdict was reached, they’d have to deliberate through the holiday weekend.
Late Wednesday, however, the jury came to its conclusion.
Maxwell’s guilty charges include conspiracy to entice a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors and sex trafficking of minors.
She was not found guilty of enticing a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, which carried a five year sentence.
60-year-old Ghizz is facing up to 65 years in the clink. So she may rot in prison (although, that’s redundant since she’s already rotten on the inside).
While she was in jail awaiting her trial, Ghislaine complained about the rat-infested conditions and creepy guards. I know, who is she calling creepy?! So maybe the thought of spending her last days with prison rats (my condolences to those poor prison rats) will make her name names to try to get a lighter sentence.
