Rita Ora recently reminded us that she is still dating Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi. Not that she had to, considering they’re not exactly at a loss of reasons, ways, or places to remind people they’re together. But in honor of Taika’s 46th birthday on Monday, she went all out and threw him a huge birthday party complete with a personalized cake, giant balloons that spelled out his name, a mariachi band, and several dozen famous friends and acquaintances. In a new interview, Kristen let us know that she’s a serious ACTOR now because she’s having trouble exercising the Ghost of Diana Spencer from her soul. Kristen, who famously disappears into, OK under the bangs of, every role she takes, says that she can’t stop thinking about Princess Diana who she plays in the upcoming biopic Spencer, even though production wrapped in April. Kristen Stewart took a break from her indie French films to star in the new queer Christmas comedy, Happiest Season. In the movie, Kristen’s character is forced to act straight during the holidays when her girlfriend brings her home and lets her know that she hasn’t come out to her family. I know, we’ve never seen that one before. While plugging the film to Variety, Kristen was asked her thoughts on whether queer actors should be the ones playing queer characters (after so many years of straights “bravely” playing gay).
