James Van Der Beek Posted An Anti-Biden TikTok Rant, And Fox News Loved It
Back in 2020, James Van Der Beek left Beverly Hills for Texas. Since then, Dawson Leery and his “influencer” wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, have been living on a country compound just outside of Austin with their six kids. The couple enjoys fishing, hiking, growing their own vegetables, and peddling anti-government/anti-vaxx conspiracy theories.
According to Jezebel, James and Kimberly’s beliefs have been out there for a while, but this week, James went viral for a TikTok criticizing the Democratic National Committee’s decision to back Joe Biden for re-election without a preliminary debate. 47-year-old James says having no debate is “undemocratic” and goes after 80-year-old Biden’s “obviously declining mental faculties.” Yesterday, Fox News discovered the rant, and presenter Clay Travis, a self-described “radical moderate” (he voted for Trump in 2020, so, um…), declared that James “deserves to be sitting on a panel analyzing everything that’s going on right now!” James Van Der Beek… political analyst? Hey, it’s not like his acting career is going anywhere.

Britney Spears must be happier than a pig in shit, y’all, because it seems like everyone has her name in their mouth or wants to appear as a main character in her hypothetical redemption story. So when Beyoncé recently looked down from her golden elevator to invite Brit Brit to appear in one of her videos, the plan failed without explanation. And in a weirder series of events, Britney says she hasn’t been to a birthday party in years–which adds fuel to yesterday’s #FreeBritney conspiracy theory mess when Paris Hilton was accused of (but vehemently denied) photoshopping Britney into a pic from a birthday party.

I haven’t thought about M.I.A. since she flipped us the bird at the Super Bowl Halftime show ten years ago. But, this week, she was thrust back into my consciousness for a very random reason. M.I.A. compared Alex Jones‘ lying about the Sandy Hook shooting to celebrities promoting COVID vaccines. Heh? Some context, in case you only get your news from this site (and good for you!): trash conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered to pay nearly $1 billion in restitution to the families of the victims killed at Sandy Hook, cuz he said the tragedy never happened and the grieving parents were paid actors. M.I.A. took to Twitter to add her two cents. Unfortunately, both of those cents were absolutely certifiable. She wrote, “If Alex jones pays for lying, shouldn’t every celebrity pushing vaccines pay too?” Rational thinking: it isn’t for everyone.

However, his comments were against good taste and Instagram’s content guidelines, so Ye’s been temporarily restricted.
