Clairol Short & Sassy Shampoo!
In the 1970s, Clairol made and sold Short & Sassy Conditioner, which was a bottle of moisturizing hair slop created just for short ‘dos. At first, they only sold Short & Sassy Conditioner and not shampoo. So I can imagine that in the 70s, many people aimlessly wandered the shampoo aisles of their local drugstores, looking for the shampoo mate to Clairol Short & Sassy Conditioner. Clairol put a stop to all the confusion a quick minute later by releasing Short & Sassy Shampoo. Sadly, I don’t think Clairol Short & Sassy Shampoo made it past the 70s and into the 80s. That’s a damn shame because it definitely would’ve been the IT shampoo of the 80s. I mean, who wouldn’t want to look like a glamourous mash-up of Blair from Facts of Life and Blanche Devereaux (see: that stunning cover model above)?

Since the 1970s, Jōvan-brand fragrances have been covering men and women with a thick layer of luscious elegance (or with a thick layer of TOO MUCH, depending on who you ask). Its signature fragrance, Jōvan Musk, still exists today (although, it’s now sold by Coty) and so do other Jōvan scents, but one of their most SCIENTIFICALLY ADVANCED fragrances was obviously too forward for its time and didn’t make it out of the 1980s. Actor Joshua Malina Asks Why Hollywood Hasn’t Canceled Mel Gibson Yet
There’s a very comprehensive catalog of deeply problematic and downright hateful things Mel Gibson has said in the past, and I’m pretty sure it’s so bad that if you were to search the word “sugar tits,” Google would come back like, “Errr…you know what, I’m going to make an executive decision and just show you some boobs covered in sugar. It’s better for your mental health and probably safer for work too.” And yet! With all the notable quotables floating around out there from Mel Gibson’s past, he continues to work. The Santa Fe DA Is Not Happy With Alec Baldwin’s Interview About The “Rust” Shooting
The accidental shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of Rust happened a little over a month ago, and since then, Alec Baldwin, who was holding the gun, has talked about it several times including Thursday night’s interview on ABC News with George Stephanopolous, and a cringe-inducing roadside talk with the paps where he awkwardly told his wife Hilaria Baldwin to shush. Well, the Santa Fe DA is now the Alec Baldwin to Alec’s Hilaria, because they’re telling him in so many words to shush. After Alec’s interview aired, the Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said that nobody involved in the tragedy has been cleared, and sources tell Deadline that the Santa Fe Sherrif’s Office felt betrayed by the interview since they previously made it clear to him that it’s an open investigation and to keep his lips shut to the media.
