Hot Slut Of The Day!
Andron By Jōvan!
Since the 1970s, Jōvan-brand fragrances have been covering men and women with a thick layer of luscious elegance (or with a thick layer of TOO MUCH, depending on who you ask). Its signature fragrance, Jōvan Musk, still exists today (although, it’s now sold by Coty) and so do other Jōvan scents, but one of their most SCIENTIFICALLY ADVANCED fragrances was obviously too forward for its time and didn’t make it out of the 1980s. Andron By Jōvan was called one of the first pheromone-based fragrances. I’m sure that everyone in the early-80s attached their chonies to suspenders, because just one sniff of Andron, and BOOM! Your panties are down. It’s science.
Jōvan released two versions of Andron, one for dudes and one for ladies, in 1981. The Chicago Tribune did an article on it at the time and explained that Andron had a steroid from man sweat in it, which gave people a serious case of the hornies, I guess.
Andron contained a synthetic equivalent of alpha androstenol–a steroid found in male sweat. Alpha androstenol was said to be a pheromone. Pheromones (pronounced FEAR-oh-moans) are chemical secretions that trigger a powerful sexual attraction. Insect species are peculiarly sensitive.
Okay, now I’m confused as to why it’s called pheromones. Because anyone who uses something with pheromones in it is obviously not fearful of moans. It’s the opposite!
Here is an Andron commercial from 1981 which declares that it’s scientifically proven to attract throbbing genitals:
If only Andron By Jōvan actually worked, the world would be a much more glamorous place. By that I mean the planet would be filled with Gen Xers with the gorgeous name of Jōvan because their parents would’ve named them after the fragrance of horny magic that brought them together!
