So now it’s time for another round of Tom’s timeless flips, spins, and kicks when Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One drops on July 12. And a whole year after the first trailer arrived, a new one is here that once again shows the union between Tom and a whole lot of CGI.

Mission: Impossible VII is really taking its name a bit too seriously, because it’s reportedly been a mess to make and is not coming out until July 14, 2023, after yet another pushback in January. And Variety heard from sources who say that the movie is reaching $290 million in production costs thanks to COVID-19 and being a big-budget action movie in the first place. Yikes, that’s pricey! Every holiday season, Tom orders dozens of white chocolate coconut bundt cakes from Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California, and sends them to famous buddies like Rosie O’Donnell, Henry Cavill, Barbara Walters, and Kirsten Dunst (she calls it “The Cruise Cake”). This year Tom went the extra (5,500) mile(s) and paid thousands of dollars to have his private plane fly to the UK and deliver 300 cakes to the crew of the latest Mission: Impossible flick. Well fuck me, I might be starting to feel sorry for the guy. Deadline reports that the release dates for Tom Cruise’s most special babies, Mission: Impossible 7 and Top Gun 2: Bottoming Out, have been delayed once again. Tom is busting his ass, sometimes almost literally, over and over and over again, for our entertainment and for what? So he can get his car stolen and be mistaken for Lil’ Kim?
