And she will be joined by previous villainess of the franchise, Charlize Theron who has been announced to also be coming back for the ninth installment. These two Oscar winners coming back? Dave Bautista will have to come around now!

It’s been a few years since we had a Fast & Furious movie causing a spike in crashes as people left the theatres amped up on all the adrenaline of watching Vin Diesel drive cars in impossible scenarios. The Fate Of The Furious came out all the way in 2017, with another already scheduled to be out May 2020. Back in 2017, Michelle Rodriguez got kind of slappy at the franchise, saying it wasn’t great with women. She was thinking of leaving the franchise. We were just waiting to see if they decided to let her so they could hire some hot new twenty-something of varying ethnic background to replace her and pay the actress much less. But the verdict is in and it looks like some meninists will be pressed because Michelle is staying in the movie and she’s bringing in the series’ first female screenwriter, too.

Back in the 90s, all Julia Roberts had to do was fart on camera (or just do Mona Lisa Smile…same difference), and a production studio would fork over $20 million. These days, Hollywood is pinching pennies, realizing audiences care more about the CGI than who is starring in a flick. Why pay for Meryl Streep when you can just hire one of those Westworld robots? It doesn’t mean you’re going to see The Rock and other actors in line at the soup kitchen…it just means they’re paid differently (aka back-end deals). The Rock Did Not Shoot Scenes With Vin Diesel For “The Fate Of The Furious”
One of my favorite feuds of the modern era is the beef between teriyaki glazed Hawaiian meatball Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and spicy Sicilian meatball Vin Diesel. It started with a shady whisper of “candy-ass” on Instagram and escalated to a showdown in The Rock’s trailer on the set of The Fate of The Furious. In an interview with Rolling Stone, The Rock confirmed what many had suspected, that he and Vin didn’t actually shoot any scenes together for F8 due to their differing philosophies on candy (The Rock prefers gummy worms, Vin likes a jaw breakers) and asses (bubble and pancake respectively).
Vin Diesel Is The Highest Grossing Actor Of 2017
The Rock must be especially pissed over this. He hates that candy-ass! Fast and Furious franchise star (and ham & cheese sculpture muse) Vin Diesel is 2017’s top grossing actor. The global take on his movies was $1.6 BILLION. 2017 must have been as awful a year as believed, because people worldwide obviously needed the distractions.
