Dave Bautista Thinks The “Fast And Furious” Franchise Sucks

Dave Bautista managed to make it from pro wrestler to successful actor appearing in flicks like the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and Blade Runner 2049. Hence, he’s become accustomed to appearing in quality cinema without having to resort to becoming Dwayne Johnson Lite and popping up in every bad action movie going. Speaking of quality cinema, Dave let one of his Twitter followers know that he doesn’t think the Fast and Furious franchise is worthy of his talents. Dave isn’t a fan of those movies. He even used the “about to puke” and “puking” emojis to illustrate his opinion.
Indiewire reports that one of Bautista’s fans suggested that he play the villain in Fast N’ Furious 15: Faster, Funner, Furiouser or whatever number they’re on and Dave didn’t agree. Drax doesn’t give a shit that his Guardians of the Galaxy co-star the tree is one of the main actors over in F&F Land. Let’s face it, though. Vin Diesel only provides the voice, it’s one line said over and over, and no one likes his ass anyway.
Bautista sarcastically responded to the idea by writing, “Thank you for your consideration,” adding two “throw-up” emojis. If it wasn’t already clear, Bautista threw down shade by using the hashtag: “I’d rather do good films.”
🤢…..thank you for your consideration…🤮 #idratherdogoodfilms https://t.co/7VT0wFG6bY

And when another guy defended those terrible movies where typical street car racing flicks eventually devolved into a dreadlocked Charlize Theron firing missiles at sports cars from her nuclear submarine, Bautista drilled down.
I normally wouldn’t even engage but I think the fact that “I Barf On Babies”is your twitter handle really says it all. 🤣😂🤣🤣… but thanks for the love dude. I really appreciate you keeping it positive and I totally respect your opinion. ✌🏽 https://t.co/5GoJX8WokQ

That last part sounded shady but he did include the peace sign so maybe he’s being sincere. Bautista’s got a slew of movies coming up. He’s starring in action-comedy Stuber alongside Kumail Nanjiani this summer, he’s going to stay with the Guardians of the Galaxy movies now that original director James Gunn was hired back after being fired, and he’s going to be in his Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated Dune remake.
You could clown on someone who started on a spandex soap opera like the WWE acting like he’s about to run the jury at Cannes but the guy is mountainous and might eat the people who piss him off so you go on ahead, I’ll catch up.
