Pink Offered To Pay The Fine That The Norwegian Women’s Handball Team Received For Breaking The Bikini Dress Code
Last week the Norwegian women’s beach handball team got in official shit for wearing “improper clothing” in a match against Spain. No, this has nothing to do with the Olympics; the team was playing in the European Beach Handball Championships, which is run by the European Handball Federation (EHF). The EHF’s dress code states that female teams must play in sports bra-style tops and bikini bottoms (even though the men’s handball teams get to wear tanks and full shorts). At the beginning of the tournament, the Norwegian women petitioned to ditch the bikini bottoms and wear the shorts they train in, but the EHF threatened them with fines or disqualification. But by the time they made it to the bronze medal game against Spain (which they lost, oops), the ladies decided enough was enough. They wore shorts in protest of the dress code and were fined 1,500 euros (about $1,700).
Pink read this story, looked at all the cash, diamonds, and gold bars stacked in various corners of her mansion, and tweeted that she’d be happy to pay the team’s fines. She added that the EHF are the ones that should be fined, for sexism!
Carl Nassib Is Now The First Active NFL Player To Come Out As Gay
Yesterday Carl Nassib made sports history when he came out as gay. The 28-year-old Las Vegas Raiders tight end defensive end is officially the first active NFL player to be openly gay. Carl, who describes himself as “a pretty private person,” shared the news in an Instagram video and written statement. He wrote that he’s thankful for the support he’s received from family, friends, the NFL, his coaches, and fellow players and that he’s always been “greeted with the utmost respect and acceptance.” Carl also announced he is partnering with the nonprofit organization The Trevor Project to help prevent LGBTQ+ suicide and has begun by donating $100,000. So far the public response to Carl’s coming out has been overwhelmingly supportive, which has surely confused all the homophobic jocks from my high school.

Breakdancing Will Be An Olympic Sport Starting With The Paris 2024 Summer Games
If, like me, you thought that dedicating one’s life to the art of breakdancing had gone out of fashion along with Fila tracksuits, Jheri curls, and Robbie Williams (above), we were wrong. Silly us. We forgot about Europe. ESPN reports that breakdancing, or simply “breaking” as they are going to call it, ensuring at least 30 more years of sweaty “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo” jokes, has become an official Olympic sport. Beginning with the Paris 2024 summer games, along with skateboarding, surfing, and sport climbing, breaking too, will be electric boogalooing its way to the Olympics.

White Sox Pitcher Michael Kopech Files For Divorce From “Riverdale’s” Vanessa Morgan Who Is Pregnant
Michael Kopech is a sportsball boy who pitches for the Chicago White Sox. Apparently he’s considered one of Major League Baseball’s “future stars”. His claim to fame ’round these parts is his two-year-long relationship with Atlanta blow-up doll Brielle Biermann, the daughter of Kim Zolciak of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Michael and Brielle both appeared on Kim’s award-winning (Most Lip Fillers) docuseries, Don’t Be Tardy, until their break up in early 2018. 24-year-old Michael quickly moved on to Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan, the actress who called BULLSHIT on Riverdale’s treatment of Black characters, and the fact that she was paid less than her white co-stars.
