Normani Has Been Called Out For Appearing In A Music Video With Chris Brown
Two days ago, Chris Brown reminded us that, much like that one line of moldy shower tile grout that is forever resistant to bleach and scrubbing, he’ll truly never go away, when he released the music video for his latest song, “WE (Warm Embrace).” Chris Brown has been locked in a warm embrace with (allegedly) shitty behavior for several decades now, but since you can’t sensually shimmy up to bad PR, he needed a human stand-in for his video. And who did he choose, but former fifth harmonizer, Normani. That’s not going over well with the type of people yelling, “NOOOOrmani, why?” after seeing her accept the gig as Chris’ dance partner in the video.
Cardi B Slaps At Rolling Stone For Accusing Her, A Bi-Sexual Woman, Of Queerbaiting
The term “queerbaiting‘ has been around for a while, but yesterday, Rolling Stone decided to school everyone on the meaning of it with an article they titled: Why Queerbaiting Matters More Than Ever. Since Rolling Stone is a music magazine, they focused on artistes who superficially slather rainbow paint on their bodies before attaching themselves to a hook and dangling themselves in front of the LGBTQ community for that pink dollar. Rolling Stone brought up master gay panderer Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande as examples of queerbaiting. They also mentioned Cardi B, and she does not appreciate that shit, saying that she’s a bi-sexual woman, and it’s wrong to accuse a musical artist of faux gayness when you have no idea who their down-low parts get tingly for.
Cardi B Was Told “Twink” Is A Slur After Complaining About “White Twinks” Online
The Advocate says that Cardi B pissed some people off online again. And this time not because she spent too much on a Birkin or a $150,000 diamond necklace for her 3-year-old daughter Kulture. This time Cardi pissed off the gays by what some have called homophobia. Cardi was told that “twink” is considered a slur by some in the gay community after she railed against the “white twinks” online who were seemingly in her business over something. My skinny hairless self was actually recently told I’m too “old” to be called a twink and I think that was more of a slur, to be honest.
Cardi B Released “WAP,” Her New Single With Megan Thee Stallion
Time to update my will, because I’ve got a new favorite song to play on loop at my funeral! It’s Cardi B’s “WAP”, featuring Megan Thee Stallion. WAP stands for “Wet Ass Pussy”, because of course it does. Last night both the song and the music video were released. The video was directed by Colin Tilley (the auteur also behind Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda”), and features cameos from Normani, Rosaliá, Rubi Rose, Sukihana, Mulatto, and… Kylie Jenner.
“WAP” is Cardi’s first single as a lead artist since last year, and it’s the first new music Megan’s released since she was tragically shot in both feet last month (after a pool party that Kylie Jenner was at). Yesterday Cardi posted a video on Instagram announcing she’d be dropping the single that night, but, tragically, the censored YouTube music video would replace the words “wet ass pussy” with “wet and gushy”. Um, that’s far grosser, honestly.
Normani Has Spoken Out About Camila Cabello And The Racism She Faced As A Member Of Fifth Harmony
Despite Normani’s recent breakthrough with Motivation, Camilla Cabello’s hair (and bearding) continues to be Fifth Harmony‘s most famous alum. Even after a slew of racist Tumbler posts resurfaced, Camila’s hair and beard(ing) are still dominating the spotlight. However, today Normani took center stage with a statement she released to Rolling Stone Magazine addressing her experiences with racism during her time in 5H (and continues to face), and implicated Camila by saying it took “years for her to take responsibility for the offensive tweets that recently resurfaced.” I would hate to be Camila’s hairbrush right now. She’s probably rage brushing herself bald as we speak.

Now that Halloween is over, we have a full breakdown of all the costumes the celebs wore to parties, and more importantly, wore on their social media to stunt on all their millions of followers. Normani pulled some tricks for Halloween, and dressed up as an iconic look from both Naomi “Check Your Lipstick Before You Talk To Me” Campbell, and THEE Cher. Well one racist troll on the internet decided that, like Megyn Kelly and Jesus, they believed Cher was exclusively for the whites. Well, Hailey Bieber, of all people, decided she would take the time out of her day of doing (insert whatever Hailey Bieber does here) to tell that troll to piss off.
