Get ready, people! Lady Gaga is an Oscar winner (for Best Song for co-writing Shallow), but she’s been trying to get her hands around a Best Actress Oscar. Gaga’s latest role is playing a singing and dancing Harley Quinn, opposite Joaquin Phoenix as a singing and dancing Joke in Joker: Folie à Deux. Joaquin already won the Best Actor Oscar for playing the Joker in the first movie, and now it’s Gaga’s turn! Director Todd Phillips announced yesterday that filming on Joker 2 has wrapped, and he shared more pictures of Gaga’s Harley Quinn and Joaquin’s Joker. And you can practically hear the engines roaring up on Joaquin and Gaga’s latest Oscar campaigns!

Well shit, I owe Zac Efron an apology. Which honestly is unprecedented because I live by the motto “I said what I said, bitch” #inthesestreets, but after watching Demi Lovato’s Architectural Digest tour of her “Trippy Modern Farmhouse,” I must walk back my skepticism of Zac’s Risky Business slide into a granite fountain story. Because apparently these celebrities really do be out here letting people talk them into buying ridiculous and potentially deadly trip hazards. But while Demi’s new house is “trippy,” especially the leather pig she’s placed on the living room rug right in front of the sliding glass doors, considering that the place looks like someone gave Bella Thorne a mountain of cocaine, an unlimited budget and told her to go nuts, I think “Tacky Migraine Inducing Madhouse” is a more apt description. Lady Gaga Is Very Happy For All The 2022 Oscar Nominees
Earlier today, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced this year’s Oscar nominations. And lo and behold, one of the names missing from the category of Best Actress was that of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta herself. Gaga campaigned so hard for a Best Actress nomination for her role as Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, but she got nothing this morning. However, don’t think Lady Gaga is spending the afternoon writing an angry, expletive-filled email to Mr. Oscar. Lady Gaga went ahead and released a little statement of sorts, and she’s very graciously accepting her fate today.
Lady Gaga Talks More About Her “Love Scene” With Salma Hayek That Got Cut From “House Of Gucci”
Seems like Lady Gaga is trying to get some bonus points towards that Oscar she’s clearly desperate for because she’s once again talking about the love scene with Salma Hayek which ended up cut from House of Gucci. The scene got cut by director Ridley Scott and was suggested by Gaga in the first place, but that’s the whole point! Do you see?! She really goes there, she takes risks! Gaga is an artiste, and just because you didn’t get to see it doesn’t mean she shouldn’t get brownie points for doing the work, okay?!

While Lady Gaga has gone on about how she’s had trouble shaking off the character of Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, Adam Driver couldn’t wait to get out of his Maurizio Gucci cosplay. And in W Magazine’s Best Performances issue, Gaga continues to burp up all the ways she got into the mind of Patrizia while Adam talks about how he was so over playing the character and didn’t go to the movie’s wrap party because when he’s done, he’s done.
Ridley Scott Defends “House Of Gucci” After The Gucci Family Slammed It
The Gucci Family has not been down with House of Gucci since they saw the first on-set pictures featuring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver. But what really stuck in their craw was Al Pacino who plays Aldo Gucci. Patrizia Gucci (the granddaughter of Aldo Gucci and daughter of Paolo Gucci who is played by Jared Leto in the movie) said that her grandfather was very tall, blue eyes, elegant” while Al Pacino’s version of him is “fat, short, with sideburns, really ugly.” Is she saying short, fat people can’t be elegant? Is Jillian Michaels part of the Gucci family? Now that the movie is out, the Guccis are still pissed and they put out a statement dragging the movie calling it an “insult to the legacy on which the brand is built today.”
