The Cast Of Season 5 Of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Has Been Ruvealed

May 8, 2020 / Posted by:

RuPaul Charles is many things: drag queen, actor, producer, podcaster, rancher, fracker, singer, activist (most of the time), and, above all else, hustler. That’s why there are roughly twelve-thousand RuPaul’s Drag Race projects in the works at all times. This means that even a longtime Drag Race fan like myself is getting fatigued. I haven’t bothered with Secret Celebrity Drag Race, because I spied only one real celebrity (Vanessa Williams), and the weed I’m currently smoking isn’t strong enough to make that shit interesting. But I definitely perked up today when VH1 ruvealed the cast and release date (June 5) for All Stars 5. Yes, the names were leaked months ago, but my brain forgot, so it was like brand new information. And even at its worst, an All Stars season is pretty damn entertaining. I mean, they’re All Stars, for chrissake. They’re a cut above regular season riff-raff.

Drag Queen Cara Melle Caught Heat For Pushing A Lady Off Her Stage

December 18, 2019 / Posted by:

I’m not going to lie to you, I laughed the first, second, and third time I watched drag queen Cara Melle push a lady off her “stage” (it looked like the floor of a restaurant during a drag brunch, which made it even funnier) while prancing around to All I Want For Christmas Is You, because I am a horrible person. A better person would have been shocked and dismayed, and many better people were just that. After the clip of Cara shoving the overly enthusiastic patron into a crowd of gagged onlookers went viral, many people let her know that while shoulder pads and helmet hair are de riguour, drag is most certainly not a contact sport.

Farrah Moan Has Accused Ariana Grande Of Ripping Off The Drag Community

September 5, 2019 / Posted by:

Ariana Grande recently filed a $10 million lawsuit against almost-bankrupt Forever 21 for allegedly stealing several looks from her video 7 Rings. Ariana claimed in the lawsuit that she had met with Forever 21 to discuss a collaboration, and when Forever 21 didn’t want to pony up enough cash, they turned around and just flat-out stole her looks anyway. Well, RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Farrah Moan claims that Forever 21 might not be the only one guilty of stealing looks here.

RuPaul Explained Why He Didn’t Wear Drag To The Met Gala

May 14, 2019 / Posted by:

When the MET Gala happened last week I was off in the Canadian Rockies having my ears hammered with wrong sounding vowels (sorry, Allison) and sharing a thready wifi connection with a bunch of mountain loving nerds (sorry, my husband) so I had to play catch up once I got back to civilization (sorry, Canada. Universal healthcare < a decent burrito). I was so excited to see what Hollywood’s interpretation of the theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion, would be. Boy, was I disappointed when I learned that Thee Billy Porter was the only motherfucker in town who knew what time it was. What a bust. One big question on people’s mind was why didn’t RuPaul come in drag and school the girls with a freshman seminar on camp. Ru didn’t feel like it, okurrr?

Some Conservatives Got Pissed About Chips Ahoy!’s Mother’s Day Ad Starring Miss Vanjie

May 13, 2019 / Posted by:

In news that shouldn’t be news, Chips Ahoy! used Vanessa Vanjie Mateo in a Mother’s Day message/ad, which makes sense since “cookies” are her thing, but it’s made some conservatives very triggered. Twitter is now filled with people who are getting upset about cookies and drag queens. You know, because getting upset about cookies and drag queens seems like a solid use of one’s time. Let’s take two super fun things and ruin them! I bet these people are fun at parties!

Open Post: Hosted By Adele And Jennifer Lawrence Crashing A NYC Gay Bar

March 23, 2019 / Posted by:

What do hetero chicks do when they want to keep Night At The Roxbury-type dude bros off their asses and terrible music from ruining their Friday night out? They party with the gays, obviously. A self-proclaimed “stay at home mom” going out drinking with her recently engaged friend at a NYC gay dive bar should be no big deal, except when the mom is the secondgreatest singer in da world” Adele and her friend is America’s farting and falling sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence.
