Open Post: Hosted By Celine Dion’s Rapper Son “Big Tip”
Could it be that the greatest singer IN ZEE VULD has given birth to the greatest RAPPER IN ZEE VULD?!? Celine Dion’s 17-year-old son Rene-Charles Angelil aka Big Tip, has just established him a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. According to Entertainment Tonight, Rene slipped his Big Tip tracks onto Soundcloud’s server earlier this week, et voila! A stah eez born! (look, I know why my phonetic French is shitty, just go with eet).
Both tracks shot to #1 on the New & Hot category of the R&B and Soul chart, leaving MOCHI CHIMCHIM and DJ TG DA INESTAN eating his French Canadian dust.
Despite his fresh face and tender age, Big Tip is just like any other street hardened rapper of his ilk. He enjoys rolling with the homies, hanging with the big dogs, and going to hockey games with his mom.
He’s a cute kid. I hope the cries of nepotism will never reach his funny little ears. Meanwhile, he’s got lots of friends in high places he can tap to spit a few verses on his next tracks.
I did listen to one of the tracks, it’s not bad! My favorite part is on “Catwalk” when, after many, many “nah nah nahs“, he raps “I ran out of tears at 16, so your bullshit don’t phase me” with a completely straight, 17-year-old face. This kid has seen some shit. And by shit I mean he’s probably met every celebrity who has ever set foot in Vegas.
