Patton Oswalt Defends His Friendship With Dave Chappelle After Getting Called Out On Social Media

January 3, 2022 / Posted by:

Patton Oswalt recently made the very real celebrity social media misstep of assuming that an innocent selfie with another famous person was going to end in tons of likes and self-esteem-boosting comments. Because Patton recently posed for a picture with his good friend Dave Chappelle, and if you remember anything about Dave Chappelle’s notable achievements from last year, then you know Patton’s picture was received poorly by some people. But! Patton would like you to know that he can be both an LGBTQ ally and a friend to a comedian who has delivered some problematic takes directed towards the trans community.

50 Cent Apologized To Madonna For Making Fun Of Her Instagram Pics

December 3, 2021 / Posted by:

Last week Madonna posted some scandalous ass-and-nipple boudoir shots on Instagram. The app took Madge’s pics down because “censorship…… sexism……ageism and misogyny”, and she reposted them with little heart emojis over the nips and a bonkers caption about how it’s all related to America’s lies about Thanksgiving and “the pilgrims peacefully breaking bread with the Native American Indians when they landed on Plymouth Rock.” Okie dokie!

Now, this is where 50 Cent randomly inserted himself into the drama.

Australian Reporter Matt Doran Apologizes On-Air For Not Listening To Adele’s Album Before Interviewing Her

November 29, 2021 / Posted by:

Earlier this month, Matt Doran, co-host of Australia’s Weekend Sunrise, was flown from Sydney to London to interview Adele about her new album 30 and during that interview, he admitted that he didn’t listen to her new album. The network, Channel Seven, which reportedly paid $1 million for an Adele package including the interview, never aired the interview because Adele’s label refused to let them. Matt was reportedly suspended for two weeks for the fuck-up. Well, he has apologized. And I’m sure Adele doesn’t give a shit since she’s rolling in the deep of her bank account because 30 was unsurprisingly a smash hit and is already the best-selling album of the year.

Well, it looks like the Cancel Club has one less member because Chrissy Teigen is back from her self-imposed timeout and better than ever! The proof? Well…she said she’s a better person during an interview to promote her latest cookbook, Cravings: All Together. Chrissy sat down for her first official interview since Courtney Stodden reminded everyone that Chrissy once told them to die on Twitter. Chrissy swung by The TODAY Show to tell Hoda Kotb all about how she’s grown as a person since she was outed as a DM monster.

Octavia Spencer Apologized For Joking About Britney Spears Needing To Get A Prenup

September 16, 2021 / Posted by:

Octavia Spencer is no mean ass MA in real life! Unlike the 90 bajiilliondy other people who joked about Britney Spears needing to get a prenup before marrying her boyfriend Sam Asghari, Octavia actually felt bad about it. Even though Sam agreed! Earlier this week when Britney announced her engagement on Instagram, Octavia commented “make him sign a prenup,” days later, Britney deleted her Instagram. Now, Britney said she’s just “taking a little break” from social media to celebrate her engagement and that she’d be back soon. But sounds like Octavia took that shit personally. And she’s very sorry!

“Jeopardy!” Host Mike Richards Is Apologizing For Stuff He Said On His Old Podcast

August 19, 2021 / Posted by:

Jeopardy! executive producer Mike Richards was crowned one of two new hosts of Jeopardy! only a week ago, and it’s starting to look like the rest of Mike’s co-workers at Jeopardy! probably should have called at least one of his references before they decided to promote Mike to a higher pay grade. Because it didn’t take long for people to unearth stuff from his past that Mike and the rest of Sony Pictures Television probably would have rather kept buried. Several discrimination lawsuits were found from Mike’s time as a producer on The Price is Right that painted him as a rude sexist asshole. He was able to sweep those under the rug with a statement and a strong denial that those lawsuits accurately reflect who he is as a person. Well, Mike used to host a podcast back in the day, and the internet just discovered that too. And look who is being forced to apologize once again for sounding like a rude sexist asshole. But this time, there’s also a little splash of racism in there as well.
