Courtney Stodden Claims They Used To Get Bullied In Their DMs By Chrissy Teigen

Ten years ago, Courtney Stodden became a household name when they got married at 16-years-old to then-51-year-old character actor/creep Doug Hutchison. Courtney Stodden became a common punchline, with plenty of people cracking jokes about their appearance, marriage, behavior, and general situation. Courtney has since called out people who hurt her feelings back then, and specifically, they wanted to talk about the person who they believe was their most aggressive bully, Twitter’s most committed user Chrissy Teigen. Thanks to plenty of Twitter evidence, we know that Chrissy really came for Courtney back in the day. But according to Courtney, it allegedly wasn’t just what Chrissy tweeted. Courtney has also accused Chrissy of bringing the hate to their DMs as well.

Courtney recently spoke to The Daily Beast about an upcoming memoir written by Courtney, which they wrote during the pandemic after being forced to sit alone with their thoughts for an extended period of time. Like having their mother sign off on a marriage when Courtney was underage, and the revelation that they believe they were a victim of grooming. Courtney also told The Daily Beast that Doug wasn’t the only older guy interested in her when they were underage, but that we’d all have to wait for the release of their book for Courtney to reveal who those alleged creeps were. Smart! Get the money upfront before you name names.

Courtney also gets into the media attention they received when they became famous for marrying a monster from The X-Files. According to Courtney, it was traumatic. Courtney speaks about getting an ultrasound at 16 live on Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers to prove that their boobs weren’t fake. And Courtney called out Chrissy Teigen and her Twitter abuse again to The Daily Beast. Except this time, Courtney has also alleged that Chrissy was DM-ing them some really dark shit:

“She wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, ‘I can’t wait for you to die.'”

Of course, Chrissy wasn’t the only hater, as noted by Courtney:

“Not only her, but Joy Behar had a field day with calling me a slut. Courtney Love told me I was a whore. People came out of the woodwork to beat up on a kid because she was in a situation that she shouldn’t have been in. There were a lot of celebrities acting like playground bullies. Some of the worst treatment I got was from women, and we’re not going to get anywhere if we keep holding each other back.”

They add that all the hate made them feel really alone and empty and that the abuse from some people took them to a dark place about five times, where they didn’t want to be alive. Chrissy hasn’t publicly or privately apologized to Courtney or even addressed the situation. But maybe Chrissy is just confused. For instance, one of her more recent tweets had Chrissy wondering what year it was:

Well, here’s a good tip to keep track of the calendar year: Have you recently slipped into someone’s DMs and sent them death wishes? No? Then the year is probably not 2011 or 2012.
