Caitlyn Jenner Has Jumped To Dave Chappelle’s Defense

As you likely already know, Dave Chappelle’s latest stand-up special for Netflix, The Closer, hasn’t exactly been well-received by everyone. Mainly due to the fact that instead of being chock full of jokes, it’s more packed full of hot takes that goes over well with the “middle-aged front-facing camera selfie taken in a drivers’ seat while wearing wraparound sunglasses” community. Dave talks a lot about the LGBTQ+ community, with stress on the T. Dave believes that the trans community is trying to “cancel” him for what he says in The Closer, and has only agreed to meet with his haters under conditions determined by Dave himself. But there is one member of the trans community who has decided to speak up in support of Dave. Please welcome to the stage, Caitlyn Jenner! Wait, does anyone else hear that cricket chirping through the silence? It’s not just me, right?

According to the failed politician, Dave is the real victim here, and he’s being persecuted in the name of (spooky organ music) WOKE CULTURE.

Dave Chappelle is 100% right. This isn’t about the LGBTQ movement. It’s about woke cancel culture run amok, trying to silence free speech.

Dave Chappelle has yet to respond to Caitlyn’s glowing endorsement. He might be waiting to issue an official response, due to the fact that this situation is likely the catchiest of 22s to him. On the one hand, you have a transwoman endorsing your material. A problematic transwoman, but a transwoman nonetheless. On the other hand, you know it’s going to take every molecule not to free speech his way into deadnaming her for the sake of a joke.

But back to Caitlyn and that defense. Can someone please inform Caitlyn that free speech isn’t really the issue here? Dave can say whatever he wants! In fact, he does, frequently, and Netflix dumps millions onto him for it! Dave cracked an anti-Semitic joke, called the gay community hypocrites, and came out as an honorary TERF. He’s free to say it, and anyone who has a problem with it is free to hold him accountable. Although to be fair, being held accountable isn’t exactly something Caitlyn is totally familiar with.
