This Year’s Razzie Nominations Are Here, And Tom Hanks Is A Triple Nominee

January 23, 2023 / Posted by:

The 2023 Razzie nominations are here, and poor Tom Hanks scored three nominations: Worst Actor for Disney’s Pinocchio, Worst Supporting Actor for Elvis, and Worst Screen Couple for Tom and his “Latex-Laden Face (and Lubricous Accent)” in Elvis. From double Oscar winner to triple Razzie nominee. Bummer. On the bright side, Tom isn’t the only guy with three noms: Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, was also nominated thrice for Worst Actor, Worst Director, and Worst Screen Couple (with Avril Lavigne’s fiancé, Mod Sun) for the stoner comedy, Good Mourning (0% on Rotten Tomatoes). Tom Hanks and MGK: industry equals!

Nepo Daddy Tom Hanks Welcomes New Nepo Baby Truman Hanks Into The Family Business

January 11, 2023 / Posted by:

Are you happy now? Y’all made so much fun of that little Chet Hanks boy that his pops had to stop in the middle of counting his Pinocchio money to defend his son against allegations that he wouldn’t have a career in the business if it wasn’t for his famous folks. Now Tom Hanks (Yes, that’s Chet’s dad. No, really, I swear!) has to start all over again, which means he’s going to be late making his deposit into Chet’s “rainy day” account, which gets topped off every time Chet opens Instagram. However, according to Entertainment Tonight, Chet isn’t the only Hanks Tom has to make excuses for. As it turns out, Tom’s heretofore unknown son, 27-year-old Truman Hanks, whose mom, like Chet, is Rita Wilson, has also taken a job in the family business, White Boi Industries (unfortunately, Chet was in charge of filing the paperwork), and will be playing a younger version of Tom’s character in the A Man Called Otto, and adaptation of the popular Swedish book A Man Called Ove.

Tom Hanks Defends Nepo Babies By Saying That The Entertainment Industry Is His “Family Business”

January 6, 2023 / Posted by:

The debate surrounding the advantages of nepo babies lives on even past 2022. This topic is getting a second round of lighter fluid thrown onto it in the form of Tom Hanks stepping up to burn the bridges with those who don’t support his decision to include his entire family in his so-called “family business,” and he likens it to anyone who has a business they would pass along to their children.

Open Post: Hosted By The Full Trailer For Disney’s Live-Action Remake Of “Pinocchio”

I still haven’t seen Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis but after covering it at length, I think I get the basics. Block headed boy is taken under the wing of an elderly stage manager type with suspicious motives and a broadly “European” accent played by Tom Hanks who pulls his strings to make him sing and dance which he’s not really good at until he meets a Black musician who animates his hips and the boy gets super famous and runs off to live a life of and debauchery and adventure before ultimately dying alone on the shitter. Have I got that right or did I just describe to you the entire plot of Robert ZemeckisPinocchio? I’d argue both are correct.

Tom Hanks Doesn’t Know Why Tim Allen Wasn’t Hired To Voice Buzz Lightyear In “Lightyear”

July 6, 2022 / Posted by:

Patricia Heaton is celebrating today, for the first time in a long time, her angry social media ramblings have been validated. Patricia Heaton was so heated (pun intended!) to discover that Buzz Lightyear, the titular character of the new Pixar film Lightyear, wasn’t voiced by Tim Allen, who was been voicing the cocky space ranger toy since 1995’s Toy Story. The Lightyear in Lightyear is voiced by Chris Evans. And if you ask Tom Hanks, Tim’s animated sidekick for the past 27 years, he’s agreeing with Patricia’s outrage on the matter, because he too can’t understand why Tim’s agent wasn’t called at casting time.

Open Post: Hosted By Tom Hanks Cursing Out Fans Who Shoved Rita Wilson

June 16, 2022 / Posted by:

Tom Hanks is America’s Dad: kind, goofy, unpretentious, and warm. But, as some fans discovered last night in New York City, even daddy has his limit. Tom and his wife Rita Wilson, both 65, were heading to their car from a restaurant when they were swarmed by a bunch of fans who got all up in the couple’s personal space. TMZ says that one of the fans accidentally shoved Rita, who almost fell, but caught her balance. A rattled Rita put up her hands and emphatically said, “Stop it!” Tom was pissed. He yelled, “My wife?! Back the fuck off! Knocking over my wife!” Then he gave fans a death stare, turned around, and followed Rita into their SUV. It’s… the sexiest he’s ever been. And I’m counting all two seasons of Bosom Buddies. Continue reading
