Rolling Stone UK Calls Lana Del Rey The Greatest Songwriter Of The 21st Century

March 10, 2023 / Posted by:

There are still almost 77 years left until the 22nd century, but that didn’t stop Rolling Stone UK from declaring that 37-year-old Lana Del Rey is the greatest songwriter of the 21st century during an interview with her (a big win for the Tumblr girls of 2012). Lana should celebrate by putting her new title from RS UK on a billboard in her ex’s hometown.

Celine Dion Was Left Off Of Rolling Stone’s 200 Greatest Singers List And Her Fans Are Outraged

January 3, 2023 / Posted by:

Apparently, Rolling Stone must have partied a little too hard on New Year’s Eve because they’ve clearly lost all of their common sense. Not that we needed a reminder of this after last year’s highly criticized 200 Greatest Hip Hop albums list, giving Cardi B yet another reason for an angry Twitter Tirade. Well, hopefully, Cardi isn’t a fan of Celine Dion because if so, she will be giving her first Big Mad video of the year after Rolling Stone did not include Celine’s name on their list of the 200 Greatest Singers of all time. It really is illegal to leave THE GREATEST SINGUH IN DA WORLD off of any greatest singers list.

Selena Gomez Talked About Having A Psychotic Break And Having To Re-Learn Certain Words After Going On A Meds Detox

November 3, 2022 / Posted by:

Selena Gomez covers the December issue of Rolling Stone to promote her new AppleTV+ documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me. The doc, directed by Alex Keshishian (he made 1991’s Madonna: Truth or Dare) explores Selena’s mental health struggles. In the Rolling Stone interview, 30-year-old Selena talks about her 2018 psychotic episode and bipolar disorder diagnosis. Selena says that, after her breakdown, doctors put her on a bunch of drugs, and “there was no part of me that was there anymore.” Eventually, she found a psychiatrist who took her off all but two medications, but detox hit her hard. Selena says she had to learn how to remember certain words, and would often forget where she was. Scary! The only memory Selena should want to get rid of is Justin Bieber. Eternal Sunshine that guy right on outta there!

Cardi B Calls Out Rolling Stone Magazine For Her Placement On Its “Greatest Hip-Hop Albums Of All Time” List

July 6, 2022 / Posted by:

When Rolling Stone magazine dropped their 200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time list last month I didn’t take the time to read it because 200 is way above my attention span’s pay grade. However, when Rolling Stone decided to comprise their lengthy list of corporate critiques they should have known they would upset a lot of people. And this is where battle-ready Bronx broad Cardi B enters the chat. Somehow, she’s found a way to complain that her ranking is too high, and she’s calling out Rolling Stone for setting her up after the weave-grabbing drag across Twitter she received in the aftermath of their list.

Rolling Stone Published A Weird, Awkward Lost Interview Between Johnny Depp And Keith Richards

October 18, 2021 / Posted by:

Back in May of 2007, Rolling Stone published a cover story and interview between Keith Richards, and his spiritual son Johnny Depp. Except the interview that made it into the magazine was not the original interview. Thanks to Rolling Stone themselves, we now know that the original interview was so messy, so weird, so uncomfortable, so off the rails, that they could not in good conscience publish it. Well, we’re all pretty desperate for content, and thanks to an ongoing global pandemic, we’ll pretty much accept anything no matter how poor or questionable the quality. And that might be why Rolling Stone has finally released the original interview from their very own version of the Disney vault after fourteen years buried away. Or maybe they released it because the vault was starting to smell too much like Marlboros, vodka, lighter fluid, and unwashed fedoras with that interview trapped in there like that.
