Emily Ratajkowski must not have gotten Britney’s “Let’s please move on, shall we?” memo, or maybe she just really needed to squeeze in one last comment about Britney’s traumatic past before agreeing to let it go and focus on Britney’s present and future. Emily would like us all to humor her for a moment, and allow her to use Britney’s life to illustrate a point about her own painful situation as a famous mother in the public eye.

Netflix just dropped an 8-episode docuseries called This Is Pop, which breaks down eight different aspects of popular music, like the rise of music festivals, country-pop cross-over artists, Britpop, and iconic NYC music production headquarters the Brill Building. There’s also a whole episode on the effects and popularity of Auto-Tune, the pitch-altering music recording program that created the kind of aggressive robo-vocals that lived completely rent-free in our ears during the very late 90s and all throughout the 2000s. T-Pain makes an appearance in the Auto-Tune episode because you can’t talk about Auto-Tune without speaking to the unofficial godfather of it. Cashing huge checks for singing like a robot should have been a great time for T-Pain, but according to him, it was anything but, because of Usher.
Serena Williams And Others Show Support To Naomi Osaka After She Withdraws From The French Open
23-year-old tennis player Naomi Osaka is a tennis legend-in-the-making (I believe that beating the GOAT Serena Williams is pretty much your FastPass to the front of the line). She was previously scheduled to compete in the 2021 French Open, which began this week and will run until June 13th. There were no doubt plenty of French Open competitors that were nervously sweating into their tennis shoes last week at the thought of serving across from Naomi, who is a two-time Australian Open and two-time US Open champion. But they’re not anymore, because Naomi has pulled out after one match, in protest of the French Open’s rules regarding press conferences. Naturally, a whole lot of athletes have come to Naomi’s defense.
Chrissy Teigen Is Sorry For Twitter Bullying Courtney Stodden
When Chrissy Teigen returned to Twitter last month after a remarkable 22-day hiatus, she stated she was coming back because it felt terrible to silence herself, and that she wanted to take the bad with the good. Chrissy was probably hoping for more good vibes than bad, but that wasn’t what fate had in store. Because Chrissy was recently reminded yet again that Courtney Stodden also isn’t willing to stay silent on the topic of how Chrissy used to relentlessly Twitter bully Courtney back in the day. Courtney recently accused Chrissy of sending them DMs that read, “I can’t wait for you to die.” Courtney never got a public or private apology from Chrissy. Chrissy clearly noticed that she had started trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons again, and so she took a moment to publicly acknowledge the awful shit she has typed to Courtney Stodden. But, Courtney might not be so sold on Chrissy’s sincerity.

Prolific tweeter Chrissy Teigen has officially quit Twitter. Since this isn’t the first time she’s quit, you’re likely placing bets on how soon she’ll be back. But go ahead and put your money back in your wallet, because there’s a very good chance she’s really, really done with Twitter for good this time. Chrissy got some more hate recently, and normally she’d gleefully appreciate the opportunity to “clap back” until her palms were sore, but she really wasn’t feeling the hate, and yesterday, she decided to leave Twitter permanently.
Prince William And Duchess Kate Are Reportedly “Appalled” About Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Upcoming Interview With Oprah
On March 7th, CBS will air a 90-minute tell-all interview that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did with Oprah Winfrey. It’s their first big TV interview since announcing that they were high-tailing it out of the UK and away from their positions as senior members of the Royal Family. I’m sure a whole lot of people are going to watch with bated breath to see what Harry and Meghan have to say, or whether they just spend the entire 90 minutes exhaling massive sighs of relief that their escape plan worked. But two people who likely won’t be tuning in are Prince William and Duchess Kate, who will be doing their own deep breathing, but theirs will be the kind to lower their heart rate to help calm them down from being so absolutely horrified by that interview.
