Chrissy Teigen Is Sorry For Twitter Bullying Courtney Stodden

When Chrissy Teigen returned to Twitter last month after a remarkable 22-day hiatus, she stated she was coming back because it felt terrible to silence herself, and that she wanted to take the bad with the good. Chrissy was probably hoping for more good vibes than bad, but that wasn’t what fate had in store. Because Chrissy was recently reminded yet again that Courtney Stodden also isn’t willing to stay silent on the topic of how Chrissy used to relentlessly Twitter bully Courtney back in the day. Courtney recently accused Chrissy of sending them DMs that read, “I can’t wait for you to die.” Courtney never got a public or private apology from Chrissy. Chrissy clearly noticed that she had started trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons again, and so she took a moment to publicly acknowledge the awful shit she has typed to Courtney Stodden. But, Courtney might not be so sold on Chrissy’s sincerity.

Yesterday, Chrissy tweeted a thread explaining that she needs to be held accountable for her actions and that she is “mortified and sad” about what kind of person she used to be. She also says that she tries so hard to give “joy” and “be beloved,” and that letting people down is a bummer for her. Chrissy publicly apologized to Courtney, because, as Chrissy claims, she’s tried to connect with Courtney privately, but it sounds like she hasn’t been successful.

There might be a very good reason why Chrissy wasn’t able to reach out to Courtney in private, and that’s because Chrissy had allegedly blocked Courtney on Twitter. Not long after Chrissy apologized for using Twitter like the trolls she blocks daily, Courtney responded on Instagram, showing that Chrissy had previously blocked her on Twitter. Courtney then called out Chrissy, saying that it felt like her apology was more to make sure that her past cyber-bullying didn’t cost her any current brand partnerships, like her deals with Target or Macy’s, and less about feeling genuine remorse for telling Courtney to kill themselves. However, that’s not to say Courtney is holding a grudge. Courtney did accept Chrissy’s apology.

Chrissy hasn’t yet responded to Courtney’s Instagram post, and she might not. After all, she said she was sorry, right? What more can a beloved harbinger of Twitter joy do to correct the situation? Send Courtney a 12-piece Cravings by Chrissy Teigen cookware set? That’s a start. Hook Courtney up with the entire Safely cleaning product line, hand-delivered by Kris Jenner herself? If Chrissy does that, then Courtney knows that Chrissy still hates them, because sending a KarJenner to your house is worse than a rotten edible arrangement.
