Debra Messing Ponders The Question: Why Is Kim Kardashian Hosting “Saturday Night Live”?

September 23, 2021 / Posted by:

Yesterday, Saturday Night Live announced the first four hosts of their upcoming 47th season. Sandwiched between Golden Globe-nominated actor Owen Wilson and Oscar-winner Rami Malek was underwear company owner, attempted lawyer, and Photoshop abuser Kim Kardashian. It was a bit of an odd choice, as Emily pointed out yesterday, due to the fact that usually when a person agrees to host SNL, it’s because they have a project they need to promote, like a movie or a new season of a television show. Kim Kardashian has…well, let’s see here. What reason does Kim have to be hosting a live sketch comedy show? That’s the question Debra Messing wondered out loud upon hearing of Kim’s hosting job.

Chrissy Teigen Denies Deleting Negative Comments On Instagram

August 11, 2021 / Posted by:

Despite being a member of the Cancel Club, Chrissy Teigen gets around. She was one of the guests at Obama’s sixtieth birthday, she recently traveled to Miami, Palm Springs, NYC, and Italy, she continues to shill her food and fashion lines, and in the last month, she’s posted 25 pictures (and hundreds of Stories) to her Instagram. Kevin Spacey, Ryan Adams, and Lori Loughlin are all like, “Bitch, what Cancel Club package did you buy, can we switch to that?”

Chrissy still has 35 million followers on Instagram and big-time celebs like Sharon Stone, Andy Cohen, Paris Hilton, Mindy Kaling, the stars of Queer Eye, and all those thirsty Real Housewives continue to leave positive comments. Apparently, this angers Chrissy’s detractors, and they believe she’s been deleting all the negative comments. Chrissy thinks their theory is “funny,” and she posted an Instagram Story (but of course) to chuckle at her “next-level haters.” With the puppy filter, of course. Wow. Chrissy meant business. The Foo Fighters Trolled Westboro Baptist Church Protestors By Playing Disco

August 6, 2021 / Posted by:

Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters are busy, busy Bee Gees fans. They just released an album of disco covers under the name “The Dee Gees” (a play on Dave’s initials, D.G.), and they’re currently touring across America. Last night they performed in Kansas, and guess who showed up to protest? No, not Courtney Love. And no, not anti-vaxxers ft. Ricky Schroder, who aren’t allowed to buy concert tickets. It was the band’s other other enemy, those homophobes from the Westboro Baptist Church. Ugh, get a hobby, you literal haters. Continue reading

James Gunn Loves Martin Scorsese, But Thinks He Trashes Marvel Movies To Get Press

August 5, 2021 / Posted by:

If Martin Scorsese made a list of things he loves, it might include: making movies, a film soundtrack with at least two songs by The Rolling Stones, the word “fuck,” Robert De Niro, mob culture, a good eyebrow grooming kit, and talking shit about Marvel movies. James Gunn, Scorsese fan and superhero franchise director, would kindly like him to knock it off with the last one.

Meghan McCain Is Still Mad At Kathy Griffin For Making Jokes About Clay Aiken, But Clay Aiken Seems To Be Good

August 4, 2021 / Posted by:

Every once in a while Meghan McCain does something that reminds me she does actually have a friend who could ask her, “Do you really want to do that with your hair?“, and this time she’s dragged her friend Clay Aiken into a situation he didn’t ask to be dragged into. On The View this week, Meghan took a swipe at Kathy Griffin, in response to Kathy’s recent lung cancer diagnosis reveal. Meghan is still very mad that Kathy made jokes about Clay’s sexuality years ago. Well, Meghan maybe should have run that all by Clay first, because Clay himself sent a message of love to Kathy.

After Michael Che Was Dragged For Sharing Jokes About Simone Biles, He Declared, “I Was Hacked!”

July 30, 2021 / Posted by:

This week, we saw gymnast GOAT Simone Biles withdraw from both her scheduled team events and individual all-around events at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, as a personal choice to put her mental health and overall well-being first. Lots of people applauded her for trusting her gut instincts and choosing to back out. “I wonder if any assholes who can’t touch their damn toes will also have something to say about this” wasn’t a question anyone had to ask themselves because of course, they came out in record numbers to throw hate at Simone Biles’ decision. One person who seemed to really want to talk about Simone Biles was Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che. He even went so far as to suggest he’d be talking about Simone Biles in an upcoming stand-up set, which was followed by sharing a few jokes on his Instagram Stories. And after he got shit for it, Michael joked that he was hacked.
