Lori Loughlin Showed Up On A Red Carpet For The First Time Since The College Admissions Scandal

June 21, 2022 / Posted by:

Lori Loughlin and her smarmy husband Mossimo Giannulli (along with Felicity Huffman) dominated headlines for a while after their involvement in the Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal was uncovered, their case progressed, and they served their subsequent time in the clink. During their downfall, Lori took every opportunity to show the public that she’s whiny, entitled, and oblivious, which is probably why Aunt Becky on Full House/Fuller House was her defining role. You would think that someone with notoriety and more money than sense who tried and very publicly failed to pull off a scam so privileged that it basically united a large portion of the country in muttering “aw hell naw” would just cry into their stacks of cash and go away forever, but not Lori–she’s a persistent “eternal optimist,” so she recently stepped out to grace her first red carpet since the college admissions scandal.

After Lori Loughlin was arrested and charged for her role in the College Admissions Scandal, Hallmark dropped her ass from the pioneer series When Calls The Heart. Well, now that Lori is out of prison after serving two months, she’s managed to get booked and busy! Hallmark has forgiven Lori for her financial crimes, and she’ll be back in the WCTH universe. She’ll reprise her role of Abigail Stanton in the spin-off When Hope Calls (working title: When Cancel Culture DOESN’T Call).

Candace Cameron Bure Defends The Acting Skills Of Hallmark Actors

February 5, 2021 / Posted by:

Candace Cameron Bure was on The Paula Faris Podcast with fellow former The View co-host, Paula Faris, and talked about Candace’s extensive career as a Hallmark thespian. Candace took a break from defending her rusty tool of a brother Kirk Cameron for the hate he got for throwing gatherings during a pandemic, to defend Hallmark actors after Paula called it an easy job. Excuse me?! Do you think it’s easy remembering those basic paint-by-numbers plots? Or which handsome white actor is your co-star? What if Candace were to get mixed up and say “Merry Christmas” when she’s doing a Valentine’s Day movie?! There are a lot of moving pieces, Paula!

The Hallmark Channel Promises To Gay Up Their Christmas Movies This Year

July 17, 2020 / Posted by:

Christmas is about to get gayer than usual (although, not as gay as an episode of Glee, above), and especially gayer than it’s ever gotten on Hallmark Channel. The network known for its sappy, predictable, and abundant heterosexual romances, has chosen to expand its portfolio, and reports are coming out that the LGBTQ+ community is about to infest the holy Halls of Mark. This year’s Christmas lineup will finally include some LGTBQ-folks. Don’t worry gay-haters, I’m sure it will be the bare-minimum homosexual representation–like early-seasons Modern Family.

Open Post: Hosted By The Hallmark Channel’s New Christmas-Themed Wine Collection

July 14, 2020 / Posted by:

When I mention Christmas, what do you think of first? If you replied “Shitty holiday rom coms and copious amounts of alcohol to drown out my stupid family’s near-constant bickering”, then I’ve got some great news for you. The Hallmark Channel has announced a new Christmas-themed wine collection, designed as perfect pairings with all the quality cinema Hallmark churns out every year.

So far this “collection” consists of just two vintage wines, which, according to Us Weekly, “will undoubtedly put you in a festive mood from the first sip.” It fucking better, Us Weekly, or I’ll see your ass in court. To quote Jessica Mulroney, “Liable”. Continue reading

After Getting Shit, The Hallmark Channel Will Bring Back A Lesbian Wedding Commercial

December 16, 2019 / Posted by:

The Hallmark Channel decided to pull a wedding advertisement with lesbians because conservative group One Million Moms told them to. Then the world reacted, shitting all over them because, Hallmark? Not gay? Kristin Chenoweth in a Christmas movie starring opposite the guy who plays the dad in the Nancy Drew reboot? The gays already up inside of Hallmark. So they had to reverse course and are now apologizing for the whole thing and giving the lesbians back their power (and targeted marketing).
