Aunt Becky Update: She’s Worried About The Sentences Other People Are Getting Because They Ain’t Short Enough

People reports that Lori Loughlin is in another one of her moods. We all know the story by now. Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of using $500,000 to bribe their daughters’ way into USC by faking that they were on the rowing team. The evidence seems pretty solid, and other people involved have pled guilty. Also, Rick Singer, the mastermind behind the College Admissions Scandal is the one who turned on his clients–and yet Lori and Mossimo pleaded not guilty because… I’m sure they have a plan?

Lori and Mossimo apparently had second thoughts, though, after fellow schemer Felicity Huffman admitted her guilt, and is already out of prison after serving 11 days. Lori wanted that too! But it seems like that won’t be happening, as other sentences are coming in from the scandal and Lori isn’t liking the prison time they got.

Toby MacFarlane is a rich real estate executive who was involved in the College Admissions Scandal. He’s been sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to one count conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. And Toby had to pay $82,000 to the IRS.

Toby and Lori are like twins. According to his guilty plea, he falsified that his daughter was a soccer star and his son was good at basketball. Man even lied about his son’s height. Toby spent $450,000 to get his kids into–you guessed it–USC. So his case is close to Lori and Mossimo’s, and he got six months in prison after taking a plea. What does that mean for Lori and Mossimo, who are facing 45 years in jail because of additional bribery charges? Nothing good.

Lori sees the writing on the wall and she isn’t liking it. A source said:

“There’s a similarity to the cases. And they’re smart enough to see that. So they’re very concerned. If this guy pleaded guilty and was still given six months, what does that mean for them? If they’re convicted, their sentences are going to be very severe. Also, they face more charges than Mr. McFarlane did. They’re very discouraged.”

Yeah, they should be–they were afforded every opportunity to cop a plea. They knew this would happen! They were told! The source continued:

“It’s very hard for Lori not to obsess about this case and what her future will be. She knows that she should focus on all the good things in her life, but it’s almost impossible for her to do it. This is hanging over her head every single day.”

I don’t know why Lori’s worried, they’re both innocent, remember? They’ll be “exonerated” at trial? LOL! These two crazy kids. Just bite the bullet and spend a month in prison. It’s not like Toby will serve six months, so relax. Besides, they’ve got some time to prepare. Martha Stewart can help them put together a great collection of looks for their months-long sentence.
