Whoopi Goldberg Snaps At “The View” Producer On Air While Dissing ABC’s “American Idol”
If Whoopi Goldberg isn’t putting her foot in her mouth on ABC’s The View, are you really watching The View? During yesterday’s live show, the five hosts, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, and of course, Whoop, started picking apart the term “sugar baby” while discussing Netflix’s new documentary Anna Nicole Smith: You Don’t Know Me. That somehow snowballed into Whoopi dragging American Idol and then getting testy with The View’s producer Brian Teta after he jumped into the conversation to remind her that the show she’s dragging through the dirt is on the same network as her show.
Kelly Ripa Talked About Working Out Of A Janitor’s Closet And Sharing A Bathroom With The Audience During Her Early Days At “Live!”
Kelly Ripa covers the latest issue of Variety, and in the interview she talks about the epic highs and lows of her 22 years hosting Live! 52-year-old Kelly says that when co-host Ryan Seacrest decided to leave the show, she was nervous about her job. Ryan and her husband/future co-host, Mark Consuelos, assured her she’d be fine, but she told them she still had “a little PTSD” based on how ABC executives had treated her in the past. Kelly tells Variety that when she first started at Live!, ABC wouldn’t let her have an office. They stuck her in an empty janitor’s closet! They also wouldn’t give her a private bathroom. She had to line up with the studio audience to use the public toilet, even when she was pregnant. Variety describes her treatment as outrageously sexist. Pamela Anderson Wrote In Her Memoir That Tim Allen Flashed Her While Working Together On “Home Improvement;” He Denies It
Step aside, Spare, there’s a new memoir in town for us to consume for free before it even hits shelves! Pamela Anderson’s upcoming memoir, Love, Pamela, seemingly sheds light on several douchey men who peaked in the 90s; we already heard she thinks her ex-husband Tommy Lee was probably her one true love. She also shared that another of her many ex-husbands, Kid Rock, doesn’t reek of dick cheese and the Confederacy. Ok, ok, I made that one up, but that would be a shocking revelation, no? Pam’s book and accompanying Netflix doc, Pamela, A Love Story, won’t be released until January 31, but another (actual) excerpt from the book has been exposed: Pam says on her very first day of filming on the set of Home Improvement, Tim Allen exposed himself to her. When asked for comment, Tim (obviously) denied the allegation.
ABC Won’t Be Airing “A Very Backstreet Holiday” After New Nick Carter Rape Allegations Surface
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before (before…wow there must be an echo in here); but Nick Carter has been accused of rape. This time, an accuser named Shannon “Shay” Ruth has just come forward and alleged that Nick raped her on his tour bus back in 2001 when she was just 17 years old. ABC already has that other messy thing going on at the moment, so they quickly pulled an upcoming Backstreet Boys holiday special from their lineup.

Constance Wu Says She Encountered Sexual Harassment And Intimidation At The Hands Of A “Fresh Off The Boat” Producer
Back in 2019, Constance Wu faced a hefty dose of backlash for being ungrateful when she tweeted “fucking hell” and “so upset right now that I’m literally crying. Ugh fuck” upon learning that the show that put her on the map, Fresh Off The Boat, had been renewed for a sixth season. Constance gave the excuse that she was upset that she had to drop out of a play she was passionate about to shoot FOTB, apologized, and then fulfilled her contractual duties by finishing the show; but ultimately ended up taking a social media break after showing her entire ass. However, Constance is now dipping her toe back into social media and has a new book coming out, and in it, she says that the reason she was so distraught about having to be back on the FOTB set is that one of the producers repeatedly intimidated and sexually harassed her.
