Taylor Swift Performed “Dear John” For The First Time In 11 Years And Seemingly Told Her Fans Not To Start Trolling John Mayer Over It Again
Hopefully, John Mayer has access to some kind of underground bunker (under Andy Cohen’s low bar should be deep enough) in preparation for Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) album release because Taylor just performed her song “Dear John” (that’s pretty obviously about him) for the first time in 11 years at one of her recent Eras Tour shows. Though she prefaced it by seemingly telling her fans to LEAVE JOHN ALONE, I’m pretty confident that before she even finished singing the song, at least one of her diehards probably DMed John a video of the performance and threatened to smack the stanky guitar face right off of him–despite fellow (but considered to be less nefarious in Taylor’s fandom) Speak Now muse, Taylor Lautner, also recently sending John his prayers for mercy leading up to the (legal) July 7 album re-release.
Hailey Bieber Asked Her Fans To Stop Leaving Mean Comments To People (Presumably Selena Gomez) On Her Behalf
Hailey and Justin Bieber have been married for four years. Selena Gomez and Justin’s shambolic on/off relationship ended five years ago. Despite those circumstances not affecting anyone else’s circumstances whatsoever, there are still people on the internet who are equal parts pathetically and fervently either on “Team Jailey” or “Team Jelena.” The most recent uproar over a feud that both Hailey and Selena said doesn’t exist involved Kylie Jenner and an eyebrow video that prompted Selena stans to send death threats to Hailey. Selena finally asked her Selenators to stand down, and Hailey thanked her. But now, the petty pendulum must’ve swung toward Selena’s comment section because Hailey just requested that her fans stop spewing vitriol towards “others” (so, Selena) on her behalf. What a time to be alive.
Selena Gomez’s Ex-Friend And Kidney Donor, Francia Raisa, Says Selena’s Fans Are Bullying Her Relentlessly (UPDATE)
UPDATE: TMZ shared today that a few months ago, Francia’s dad revealed on a Spanish radio show the reason for her and Selena’s rift: Francia called out Selena for drinking after securing that donated kidney. Selena’s reps didn’t comment, but if true, whew, she’s lucky that ignoring questions about her was as far as Francia went.
It’s hard to keep track of the ever-growing list of Selena Gomez‘s girl feuds, but a few incidents ago, Selena said in an interview that Taylor Swift was her ONLY Hollywood friend. But, back in 2017, she needed a kidney transplant, and her friend (at the time) Francia Raisa generously donated one. Technically, Francia’s in the Hollywood set since she’s appeared in such white-hot bangers like Life-Size 2 and How I Met Your Father, so she took offense to Selena leaving her out and unfollowing her on social media. Selena then coldly responded and was basically like, “soooo sorry I didn’t mention every single person I know.” So when a Backgrid pap “ran into” Francia out and about last week, she shadily dodged every question they asked her about her relationship with Selena. After all, Selena’s rabid fans, the Selenators, are ready to strike at any moment and she was probably trying to avoid that whole mess. But Francia’s shady silence about Selena must’ve been deafening to the Selenators because she says they’ve been constantly bullying her ever since.

35-year-old WWE Superstar, Seth Rollins, had a rough day at work recently. While his gig has literally been to wrestle with dudes and get knocked around in the ring, he didn’t expect it when one random fan decided he too would participate in the physical shenanigans and rushed Seth. While I would argue that the authenticity of the “fighting” in wrestling is questionable, this fight may have been real as hell.
Taylor Swift’s Feud With “Ginny & Georgia” Has Caused Her Fans To Start Doxxing A Writer
Earlier this week, Taylor Swift dragged Netflix’s teen series Ginny & Georgia for beating the most-dead horse in Taylor’s reputation stable by making a joke about her dating history. And I don’t know what Taylor was hoping to achieve by publicly calling them out. If it was attention, well then – mission accomplished. If it was the potential for some satisfying revenge, Taylor is going to have to keep waiting on that, because Netflix hasn’t cancelled Ginny & Georgia (and they probably won’t, because it’s popular). I don’t think Taylor was hoping that her public shaming of Ginny & Georgia would result in a random female writer going into hiding to protect herself against death threats and doxxing, but that’s where we’re currently at.
